On your computer, check the system tray for the application "HTC Sync". If it's running stop/close/kill it.

Check to see if you disabled com.android.bluetooth. Worse come to worst, change all the "disable"s in your script to "enable" and re-run. It will undo everything.

A simple restart fixed it! Are you using Sense, or another launcher? I like Sense, but worry about battery. Right now, I'm using LauncherPro Plus. Seems to be okay. Tried GO Launcher EX, but it seemed to use more battery.

A simple restart fixed it! Are you using Sense, or another launcher? I like Sense, but worry about battery. Right now, I'm using LauncherPro Plus. Seems to be okay. Tried GO Launcher EX, but it seemed to use more battery.

Personally I'm back to using Launcher Pro as well... mostly because while sense is pretty and all, I prefer my stock'ish look. ADW was laggy so I went with LP with was just as snappy as I wanted it and I always liked their custom home icons.

@scrosler - Can you post what the different options disable. I looked through and recognized some but others I cant tell.

Does a battery pull constitute a hard reset?...if I want to get back to normal in case of a OTA ICS ,will that work?

Disabling the bloat should not prevent you from updating to ICS. If for some reason it does you can run the tool again to re-enable everything. As far as I know there is no reason to do a hard reset.

Any OTA will still work, because packages aren't actually removed or altered. They're just disabled.

Also a hard reset is when you go into recovery and do a "factory reset"

I hate to sound dumb but where do I get the file for CT 2.1. When I click on download it takes me to scotts site but does not give me a file to download

well everything worked great. Then I loaded LP then disabled sense now all I get is a gray screen with the icons on top but nothing on the screen
