What? Samsung never did this for me - it's always my own box (box it came in would usually be too big with the accessories) and my own newspaper filler. lol

Now Apple - they used to send me a thing to put the iPhone trade in, in . I haven't traded in an iPhone in years, tho.
I guess you're just not as good looking as me. :p

For those of you following the tracking of your trade-in device back to HylaMobile, it always gets delayed a day at the Hutchings, TX facility due to a "weather delay". The tablets I've sent back this year, and now this phone, have all followed the same path.

Same.

Normally Samsung would include a padded envelope to put the return device in. It doesn't seem that it did that this time. Just wrap my trade-in in the two miles of packing and put it back in the same box?
The only padded envelope I have received for a phone return has been Google not Samsung are you sure you aren't think Iof some other return? I've been doing this for a long time and never heard of Samsung doing that.

I've been trading in since the S10 and have never seen a padded envelope
OVer here, they sendthe phone in a box about the size of a small shoe box which has a tear strip. It also has a second seal so you can pack your old phone into the box, reseal and apply the label, or pop it into the postal bag. Do you guys not have those boxes?

My free Watch 6 came in a similar box sized to fit it.

That's why the phones have looked the same for 3 years. They've got all the good product designers hard at work on boxes.
At least make something presentable when you open a box on a 1k+ phone , like the analogy goes , you go to an expensive restaurant and order the most expensive food and they come out servicing it on paper plates and plastic forks and knives

You've been watching too much flossy ;)

To be honest, it's not something I really agree with him on. I'm not really looking for a premium unboxing experience when I buy a phone. The basic boxes they use that put the phone front and centre are fine with me.

They could do with being a little bigger though... just enough to fit a basic case and collapsing charger in!
