Did anyone send a trade-in to Coppell facility and got approval without calling CS?
Mine went to Texas and I got the cracked screen email before the received emailDid anyone send a trade-in to Coppell facility and got approval without calling CS?
I got an email stating they received an empty box. I was like oh hell no! I immediately called them and they reversed the claim and then waited until they sent me the no chargeback email. First time it's ever happened but I saw red instantly lol.Well this morning I got the dreaded text/email saying there was a $155 charge back for the trade in.
Messaged with chat who spoke to the team and they cancelled the charge back. I just got an email stating as such.
Guess the default this year is to charge and see who just ignores and doesn't challenge it?

They did that to me as well with the S21U. Sounds like a scam where they're hoping people will just take their word for it and take the hit on trade in value.

I did chat. It's bad enough dealing with crappy customer service thru chat, if I was talking to them I'd probably say something I shouldn't.I'm sending my trade in on Friday, just in case I get the dreaded cracked screen email, how did you all get in contact with Samsung?

I wonder what's up with this happening to so many people. I get it if the screen is scratched up when the device is sent in and Samsung claims it's cracked. That's an argument about the degree of the wear and tear, not whether the defect or any defect exists to begin with. And if they're truly videotaping the devices coming out of the return boxes one would think they'd be wary of claiming damage where none exists. I just don't get it. But, suffice it to say, I'll be taking extensive video of my pristine Z Flip 4 as I reset it, box it up and drop it off at FedEx.

If scratched screens are a issue then Samsung should say no scratches screen. Scratched and cracked are 2 different things. I did think there might be a issue that's why I sent the trade in phone in right away this time so I had time to get old phone back and return the new phone. I never return the trade in so fast.I wonder what's up with this happening to so many people. I get it if the screen is scratched up when the device is sent in and Samsung claims it's cracked.
