Well in my view that makes twitter's failure to resolve the matter entirely inexcusable. Twitter has to have been hearing about this a lot for quite a while. I was guessing the problem may have had to do with API changes between 5 and 6 and adaptability. In any case, that's simply too long for an issue like this to linger on!It's not just Android 6, Lollipop 5.1.1 is in the same boat.
I agree, what makes it even more frustrating is that no matter how many attempts that are made to contact Twitter support they just never respond.Well in my view that makes twitter's failure to resolve the matter entirely inexcusable. One would think that they would want to have the best company and the best-functioning software possible. They must have passed the too big to care point or something.I agree, what makes it even more frustrating is that no matter how many attempts that are made to contact Twitter support they just never respond.
I have just upgraded from the Note 3 to the S7 edge. I can no longer change my twitter tone which is so annoying as now it makes the same noise as actual important stuff! It's not just Android 6, Lollipop 5.1.1 is in the same boat.
Hey guys. I recently got my first ever Android phone some days ago. I set up a new launcher, all the settings and everything is fine. Except for Twitter. I went into Twitter > settings > my account > notification sound and selected the one I want, but every time I get notified, the "default notification" of the phone comes up that I set (basically the one for texts I think it is). Do I have to do it a different way or is Twitter's app problem? I already tried reinstalling it, still no solution. Thank you very much![]()
