WooHoo, I also just got a text for my local GameStop that my N7 is ready for AM pickup....Gonna be a good day after all
i got the text from gamestop also. but it wasnt clear if it was today or next friday so I game my local one a call and as far as he knew he still could not sell it. he said the text may have been automated from when they were supposed to be released yesterday but he was going to check and call me back...... he just called me back to say he just got the email to release them. Iam leaving in five minutes to pick mine up

I just called 2 GS in my area, and they said you have to have a preorder, and neither knew if they could release them. But obviously you guys are getting yours. So that is excellent. I head out tomorrow on a 3 city trip so not sure when I will get to swing by my office to get it. Ill be pass thru my home town on Thurs so I probably wont see it til then. Its all good. Just thought it would be nice to get it all set up on the plane. But, seriously, I dont mind waiting.
Where are you folks from that your GameStop preorders are ready?
I called to see if my local GS thought they might have extras and the guy just told me it's in their system as ETA 7/31 and they don't even have them in the store yet. Told me to call back 8/1 :'(

Wow.. happy for Gamestop folks, but pretty sad about my Playstore order.... plus im out $13.99 in shipping...

Its like going to the grocery store. Sometime you get in the right line, some times you dont. I didnt get in the right line this time either.
I am east coast in ct I tried to call GameStop to verify that the text is real lol but nobody picked up sadly
I'm in a small town....Malvern, Arkansas about fifty miles south of Little Rock. The GameStop guy told me they had my N7 in store since last Monday.

Really irritated....I ordered a 16g Nexus 7 for my hubby on June 28th at 4:02pm eastern, but nothing has changed with my choice, my wallet or my email. I'll never order directly from Google again, what a mistake.
Going to go pick mine up from Gamestop. Hope the rest of you get yours soon.
