Think of it this way, Samsung would not allow Verizon to just pass on the SGSII without good reason.I really really really really hope this one is true... With this rumor about no galaxy s2 this might be my last hope
Just sucks the main Nexus carrier T-Mobile, will get the shaft from Verizon. T-Mobile should first in line with selling the Nexus-Three/Prime, and then Sprint the second new Nexus carrier. Verizon should be third on the list to sell the Nexus-Three.
If Verizon gets the Nexus-Three first, and T-Mobile and Sprint don't, that would be like ATT not getting the iPhone5 at launch.
Technically the Original Droid could be seen as the first Nexus. Makes sense for Verizon to get this one now since so many Droid users like myself are up for upgrade. Also with T-Mobile getting the Galaxy they really don't need the Nexus Prime. Coincidence that only Verizon won't be getting the GSII? I think not. Also news is that Verizon has asked the president to stop apple from trying to destroy Android with their sale bans.
I don't think the majority of the people who bought the OG droid bought it because of the Nexus experience. I think they bought it because it was a really good phone at a time when verizon wasn't known for their top shelf phone selection.Technically the Original Droid could be seen as the first Nexus. Hopefully this phone comes to all national carriers. I hate when products are exclusive to carriers. I want everyone to be able to buy this beast when it comes out.

I can't blame you, I want a nexus phone because I'm tired of HTC Sense. Hopefully Verizon does the right thing and gives it's customers what they want. This is probably true. It was for me, but after using the phone for closing on two years I want the same vanilla Android experience.
I thought Google had always wanted the Nexus devices to be on all carriers, and the NS was supposed to be on all, but Verizon backed out at the last moment.
Now I have Verizon, so I really hope they get the NP, but I don't see why they would deserve a shot at having it first. I'm just hoping for a simultaneous launch on all major carriers.
