Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

tomatoe, tomato... either way, i'm fairly certain Google didn't say, "No matter what, we don't want no stinkin' LED notification light!" if Sammy wanted to put one on, they could have. i think it's silly not to have one; but i also would say that it's not a deal breaker.

I always rag on my friends when they turn their iphone on to check a message and they don't have one. The look on their face is priceless. Hopefully google doesn't make me put my foot in my mouth.

LED would be nice, no doubt.

Full day or more for LTE battery life would be better.....

Ok I can see this as a good point for you lol .... Besides my text messages i don't have anything updating
so i can save battery life. Emails i check like 1 or twice if any and facebook, twitter and G+ i open them up to update and check. There are Pros of having it , Its just not a deal breaker for me and I don't use the feature that much that i would miss it...

I think Google does designs the phone in some aspect of it. IMO they look at a phone to fit the design of the UI. so if they design the UI to have built in buttons then they would design the phone to not have them. So depending on how you view it . Google does design phones....

I love the notification light, but honestly I can do with or without.

At this point the only reason I want it to be Samsung is because of screen technology

I really love LED, it isn't something that would prevent me from getting the device but it is something that i find very important.

Also peter cullen(voice of optimus prime) should announce this device.

I really really really really hope this one is true... With this rumor about no galaxy s2 this might be my last hope

Think of it this way, Samsung would not allow Verizon to just pass on the SGSII without good reason.

Prime seems like a GREAT reason.

Just sucks the main Nexus carrier T-Mobile, will get the shaft from Verizon. T-Mobile should first in line with selling the Nexus-Three/Prime, and then Sprint the second new Nexus carrier. Verizon should be third on the list to sell the Nexus-Three.

If Verizon gets the Nexus-Three first, and T-Mobile and Sprint don't, that would be like ATT not getting the iPhone5 at launch.

Perhaps they will all get it at the same time? And some might argue that its Verizon's turn to get a nexus phone first because tmobile always has... I guess it just depends how you look at it.

Technically the Original Droid could be seen as the first Nexus. Makes sense for Verizon to get this one now since so many Droid users like myself are up for upgrade. Also with T-Mobile getting the Galaxy they really don't need the Nexus Prime. Coincidence that only Verizon won't be getting the GSII? I think not. Also news is that Verizon has asked the president to stop apple from trying to destroy Android with their sale bans.

Couldn't the G1 be seen as the first Nexus? I know the OG Droid was literally co-developed with Google every step of the way, but...yeah.:)

I don't think the majority of the people who bought the OG droid bought it because of the Nexus experience. I think they bought it because it was a really good phone at a time when verizon wasn't known for their top shelf phone selection.

Hopefully this phone comes to all national carriers. I hate when products are exclusive to carriers. I want everyone to be able to buy this beast when it comes out.

My point the same way some can make the argument why Big Red shouldn't get it first, you can make similar arguments why they should. Let Verizon get a shot. T-Mobile has had it twice, and they should also get the third? Now that is a little unfair.

It all depends on contracts... if TMo paid Google a lot of money for the rights to Nexus and maybe its a muti-year contract then TMo has every right to get it first. If i were TMo thats what i would do. People say the Nexus is like the IPhone so why not lock it down if you were Tmo in a contract of some sort, AT&T did it.

Sprint is now getting the IPhone and AT&T is getting the NexusS so everyone should Carry the NP ...
Which ever carrier that does get it first Congrats but as long as we all get it , in a timely manner then it will be all good...:)

This is probably true. It was for me, but after using the phone for closing on two years I want the same vanilla Android experience.
