If you guys actually get the phone on the 5th, does that mean earlier release for the stores too.

If carrier stores were the only retailers then it would be pretty easy to change dates and release sooner. But big box stores have already printed their ads for that week and the Note 8 is probably prominently featured and listed as September 15 and there's no way for them to change the ad at this point.

I wish it was coming tomorrow but I wasn't able to select overnight shipping when placing the online order only free standard was available to me. So I have the same Tuesday the 5th delivery as most everybody.

Depends on how stringently they grade it; I've never traded one of my old devices. Sentiment I suppose.

Hopefully.... This has happened before, fed ex even shows delivery dates 2 days later, then there's that pesky hold for future delivery that shows up later. I hope it gets here next week also, but not getting hopeful.

Well my credit card company decided the Verizon charge was a good time to do their fraud protection and denied the charge. I okayed it with credit card and then Verizon sent the payment failed email and update your payment. I selected use the same card and it's done deal now.

Verizon confirms it’s started shipping the Galaxy Note 8 – BGR

We’ve received official confirmation from Verizon that Note 8 pre-order shipments have begun, with deliveries expected on Tuesday September 5th. That’s a full 10 days ahead of the official street release date, which is September 15th.

All of you are saying that you got charged today and then got your shipping notification, am I correct with this? If so I got the full charge two days ago(was a pending charge, now its been cleared with my bank) and mine is still sitting at "processing check back later"...Very annoying!
