Verizon: Galaxy Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

My FedEX tracking says by 8pm Tues Sept 5. I am not going to get excited till it says out for delivery.

I'm pretty sure this has to do with shipping companies as well. I only say it because of the hurricane that just happened, and the potential for one in the near future too. On top of that I've had luck with FedEx delivering earlier than they say just because it moved on to the local hub. Hoping for tomorrow, but excited for Tuesday!

If it makes you feel better, I extended my vacation to be home the 14/15, to be able to play with the note. For the first time ever, I'm off on "launch day", and now Verizon ships early. Guess who's taking vacation next year when they are expected to be delivered

don't know how I got sat. shipping I think that it will probably set until Tuesday and deliver. that's my thought based on note 7

I didn't want to get my hopes up until I saw more movement with FedEx but I just got confirmation from Verizon.

Just an FYI, no matter how many times you check the tracking number, it still says Tuesday, 5th. The day after we leave for a week. I'm still gonna click the h3ll outta it. Maybe that'll speed it up till tomorrow.

Wow, we must have had the same rep!haha. I had pretty much the same experience. I just got off the phone with them this morning as well and they said everything is good. But I still don't have the best feeling about my order, its still in processing. Also, I placed this order on 8/30. Thats when my card was charged as a pending transaction, today its cleared. BUT when I called this morning they said my order on 8/30 was deleted due to all the problems that the original rep made and they had to re-place the order yesterday(8/31). My first questions was "does this mean I will get a later shipping date?". They assured me that I wouldn't but like I said, my order still just says "processing, check back later". This hasn't been the best experience to say the least. I guess time will tell if I get the Note early or note.

I placed my order on 8/26. My Verizon website shows-

"Your order is currently being processed. Please wait until the product is shipped to receive further information".

It doesn't look like I'm going to get it early do to all the mix ups. They did waive the $30 upgrade fee. This phone better be amazing, I already am feeling a bit negative after the ordering fiasco.

I have faith that if I click refresh enough times on the tracking update that it'll conjure up cellular magic and when wake in the morning, it'll be 'out for delivery'.

Glad they are shipping it out early, but it's clearly so that the 14 day return period will be over just before the new iPhone is released. Good play on Samsung's part but it could mean they are worried that Apples new phone is good enough to make people return the Note 8.

I can't stand iOS so im one customer Samsung can count on keeping the the phone
