Verizon's NHL app is full of fail

Why you ask? Well, apparently Verizon/the NHL only think BB and featurephone users are interested in their NHL Ice Time app. It is ridiculous that an Android compatable version hasn't been released considering how hard Big Red has been pushing "Droid Does". On the Inc, there is a special "Verizon" section of the market where they have an assortment of crap, including some NFL thing. But no NHL.

Any other droid hockey fans out there as annoyed with this as me? Not like the Stanley Cup finals are coming up or anything...

Lame!

I was actually searching this like crazy the other day! Saw it on the verizon commercial that it was available for verizon. I was so excited I started to look it up to see if its Android compatible. I use THN hockey news but would LOVE to stream the actual games on my phone.

I think I read somewhere that the Android version is due out in time for the start of the 2010-11 season. In the meantime, SportsTap will have to do.

It would be nice to have that app like the one for NHL's now since sports tap doesn't really give you that much. For now I have a few NHL bookmarks to check news and scores.
