Hey All,

I have a HTC Hero and am about to upgrade to a 4g phone. I'm curious how good the picture quality is watching football through the Sprint Football app comparing 3G versus 4G.

3G is pretty choppy and pixelated. I'm hoping 4G is more watchable.

Thanks.

Watching Sprint TV on this phone over 3G is better than the Hero. I haven't used the Hero's version of Sprint TV in a while though, cause I've been using 2.2 ROMs on it. When I was down south, I checked out Sprint TV on 4G and its great... problem is signal indoors. Was fine for me in one room of the house, but not another.

I was away this weekend in the middle of nowhere with my wife family. i told my wife i wanted to watch bama vs. penn state we have to leave by 6:00. Long story short we never lefts, but at 7:15 i pulled my epic out and started watching the game over 3g and i only had 2 bars. The game looked good and i had about 5 people looking over my shoulders also watching.

Yeah, I'm glad they added ESPN Live for free. Great add since they lost the NFL app (which has been hack to work ;-)). Watched a lot of college football the last couple of nights at work with the samsung dock acting as the kickstand.

The NFL app is gone :( Those days with the Instinct bring back memories. I'm going to try and get it back as I saw a post over at XDA about it.
