Whitestone Dome Glass $32 (2 pack)

Well, the one disappointment of an otherwise awesome new phone experience is that I could not install my Whitestone Dome despite three meticulous attempts and prior experience installing UV cured screen protectors. I simply couldn't get the glue to spread across the entire screen. I gave up on this and will simply have an overpriced tempered glass protector installed by a professional at a cell phone store.

When u center the glue and then removed the top piece to drop the screen protector it didn't start spreading? If it didn't go in those areas just tilt the phone in those directions to allow flow

Thanks for the suggestion. I did indeed try this and it helped somewhat. But there were still some gaps at the bottom where I couldn't get it to spread. I'm sure it's user error on my part, which is unfortunate since it looks like it would have been a great screen protector. But I don't think I could do it correctly even if I had ten screen protectors. My deepest respect to those of you who have the skill to pull this off.

Same here...I've installed this brand on a few phones with zero issues. This time three times :/

I'm so annoyed and disappointed about it. Well ended up buying another 2-pack. Hopefully that one goes better. Maybe I'll do my S20U first (it's in real need of a replacement).

Installation was easy breezy... no problems with my caseology skyfall clear case. FPS works perfect.

If this is your 1st time installing the WSD and you decide to go to YouTube to check a tutorial or two There is one you should avoid. The guy gets the job done but he seems to be in a rush, doesn't take certain precautions and following his process could lead you down a bad road. This was a complete FAIL. Installed on a Dummy phone. He didn't use the port and button stickers or the ear piece cover.
Figured out it was a dummy phone after watching the whole video.

I want to like these. Usually to expensive. Seems like a good deal. I am still using the plastic protector that came on my note 10plus. I am easy on my stuff. As soon as my s22u ships I may reward my self by removing the plastic.

Omg haha I was watching this yesterday and the whole was I was thinking - wow, this is like one of the worst installation videos I've seen and an example of not following instructions. Definitely do not follow this guy if you want to get it on right. This is one of those things where YT removing the dislike count hurts. lol

How much better are these than AmFilm? I ended up with AmFilm which uses a similar process except the UV light covers the entire phone at once. Reviews Al were mixed for both but I’ve usually had good luck with AmFilm that’s why I chose it.

Put my Whitestone Dome screen protector on yesterday and the back camera protector on as well. Feel like the improvements they have made to the jig help make the process more efficient. I've started to cure mine the following way:

1. Initial 15 seconds in the top, middle and bottom.
2. After taking it out of the jig and taking the black tape off around the edges (I don't really wipe the glue on the sides unless I see a glob), I cure it 60 seconds in the top, middle and bottom.
3. Then one more go around with curing it 60 seconds in the top, middle and bottom.

I've been using these for years. So immediately had a two pack on order ready for the arrival of my phone today.

Both installations totally screwed up. The adhesive just wouldn't spread all the way on either. It says to give it 100 seconds. I waited seven minutes. It's like they haven't put enough adhesive in.

Had to order more and race to best buy to get an overpriced rubbish Zagg one fitted to see me through until they're delivered.

Not thrilled.

There's not even a way for me to check the status on my order. I'm basically just stuck in limbo not knowing anything. Slightly frustrating seeing that I don't like using my phones without a screen protector.

You're not the only 1. Someone here had the exact same issue of not enough adhesive. I wonder if my leftover from last year is still good?!
