Whitestone Dome Glass $32 (2 pack)

Got my email last night it got shipped. Looks like they got a new batch in.

Funny that morning I asked about an update and got the OOS email like the one above.

Question for you whitestone experts. I know they give you two screens; however, do they give you two containers of glue and extra sticker for top, bottom, side protection?

Had my 2 pack WSD before I had my phone. I put it on before I charged or turned my phone on. Went on flawless.

They actually give 3 bottles of glue.

Thanks. Nice to know in case I screw it up the first time.

Yes, I also had 3 bottles of glue. My 1st install on Friday was a bust. The FPS barely worked so I removed it. I tried again today with the 2nd protector and all is well.

My install went perfectly buuuuut... I may have to pull it. My fingerprint recognition is there but it takes a lot of effort. Increased the touch sensitivity tried storing them a few times with no improvement. So I know what I'm doing this weekend.

So I didn't pull it just yet. For 1 day the FPS seemed to work great then it went back to somewhat sporadic performance. We'll see how this week goes but I have a Spigen non glass replacement ready to go.

I'm still afraid to try to apply these screen protectors, i think. :-/ Maybe this time with the S22Ultra....
I watched the installation video so I know with absolute certainty installation is not in my skill set. My hands shake imperceptibly but enough to mess up this sort of thing.

Once on if the glass becomes scratched and you want to replace it how do you remove the WhiteStoneDome cover glass?

Well, the one disappointment of an otherwise awesome new phone experience is that I could not install my Whitestone Dome despite three meticulous attempts and prior experience installing UV cured screen protectors. I simply couldn't get the glue to spread across the entire screen. I gave up on this and will simply have an overpriced tempered glass protector installed by a professional at a cell phone store.
Please let me know where you get it done and how much it costs.

Thanks!

Keep me posted. I just had a Zagg fitted which is ok but have replacement Whitestones coming and on the fence over whether I remove this for them. Be interested to see if it is a common problem.
Is the Zagg glass or fusion (flexible plastic)? I went to my Zagg booth and guy told my $70 for flexible screen protector.

So, I put my Whitestone Dome screen protector on today after it was finally delivered. I have used them on my last two Galaxy phones with horrible results. The FPS never worked well at all unless I wet my finger first which was obviously not ideal.

I had an almost flawless install. The only issue was along the left edge there seemed to not be adhesive all the way to the edge. It was almost unnoticeable but it bothered me, so I took a piece of paper and dipped it in some extra adhesive that I had left over from another phone and slid it along the edge and cured it and now it is absolutely perfect.

And I am happy (and quite surprised, to say the least) that my FPS is working flawlessly every single time and it is as quick as it was without the protector. I am shocked this is actually working. I didn't have to do the same fingers twice, I have four separate fingers loaded, and it is working! I cannot stand it when the FPS doesn't work since I use that for everything, including Samsung Pay, and I couldn't be happier.

Ordered the WSD last week and till no shipment or anything. I believe they are out of stock and coming on a slow boat from China.

Got my order yesterday (was originally set for delivery today). Installed it a few minutes ago.

Was nervous seeing I messed up my previous orders... No issues with install :)

Only issue was my uv light thing the 15 & 60 sec light didnt work so i just did it four times each spot.

Nice, how did they ship it? USPS, UPS or FedEx?

Hi all--just wanted to share my experience. I am a total novice at installing this brand/type of screen protector. Today was my first time. I successfully installed one on my phone and then on my spouse's phone and the finger print scanner works on both. One tip that I read that I think was helpful was to rescan your fingerprints after installation and to enable "touch sensitivity" under display to increase the touch sensitivity for use with screen protectors. I just wanted to share my experience because I was feeling intimidated by the process. If I can do it-most others can too. Good luck!

Try a little moisture on your fingertip. Only way I can get mine to work most of tge time.
