In real life, it looks way better than what you think. I had some time with it and it was a non issue. Dont even see it

The look isn't my biggest issue. I still think that it is a little stupid, but I would be able to tolerate it if they hadn't removed the iris scanner and the led notification light

You find a notch which is 20x the size of the holes we're talking about to be less noticeable or intrusive than a small hole(s) on the top right of the screen?

That's a real head scratcher.

Well the notch is at the top of the screen and not in the screen

If it weren't in the screen, then it woudn't be a "notch".

Doesn't impact app content since they can't use that area anyways. Media you have a point, but it it still letterboxed because of the aspect ratio anyway. I'm not sure how you propose they would calculate the screen size with that area removed, since screen size is a diagonal measurement.

At the flush point the display would not be impacted.

I think the Samsung hole(s) look kind of cool actually. Hate the notch look. How anyone can even compare the two is beyond me.

Tolerable yes.... Cool not so much. Everyone is different as far as what they like or tolerate. I don't find either one a problem comparing them side by side. At first when I saw the double hole in leaks I was like "Oh No"

Exactly....all this fuss about notches and holes doesn't amount to much. In the we should all buy what makes us happy. Notches and holes aren't deal breakers for me. As for which is better.... That's up to individual preference.

Certain apps, mostly games in landscape use the entire screen. This may or may not impact anything.

I finally got a chance to see an S10 plus at the store I'm still not crazy about the cutout but I do think I'll get used to it and the screen really is amazing

Iris scanner is removed as is the led notification. And, unfortunately, Samsung is the only thing that works for me...

Well the notch is at the top of the screen and not in the screen

The notch is in the screen takes away from way more of the screen than the hole punch does.

Yet I still have quite a bit of screen with the notch. I also have an iris scanner and notification led...

I end up with a little less screen space and more functionality.
