Lol what are the odds they just happen to go down now. Thats cool, it says they'll be back on Dec 10th so hopefully its up by then. Did you go to the website and look? Is there just something that I'm missing? I tend to go full from time to time.

Thanks simonsimons that wifi tether for root works much better than barnacle. It supports wpa2-psk instead of wep (a major plus) which i can use while on my touchpad now, and my pc picks it right up and my touchpad had no problems with it in WebOS meaning no more root commands to make it work, also works good in Xron's and cm's android port on it.

So I got the goldcard working and got the phone s-off. However, the one click root doesnt seem to be working for me. It keep saying stuff like adb out of date and killing daemon, nothing to indicate that it has actually worked. Tried running titanium backup and it would seem that I'm still not rooted.

Also I used the root tutorial on XDA with the s off method from here and it worked like a charm. Just check the dev section over on XDA.

I'd be happy to add a change log when I'm home. Also to root please consider flashing my Rom. It has built in root.
You have to go to task manager on your computer, than go to services and right click on htcUPCTloader and stop it from running, then it should work perfectly.

According to one site, "EVDO (Evolution Data Only/Evolution Data Optimized) is a 3G mobile broadband technology used by Verizon, Sprint, and Alltel that provides typical download speeds of 600-1400kbps (with bursts up to 3100kbps)."
