Wireless charger won't charge phone to 100% overnight

I tried the new Samsung round puk charger and found it does turn off after 100% charge. I also have the older square Samsung "mini" charger. It stays on and keeps the phone charged to 100%. I also stream radio all night and still wake up to a 100% charge.

I actually watched my oem charger go into the blue blinking mode one night and stop charging. It happened when a notification made the screen turn on momentarily.

I have since purchased this http://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Char...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4389481 and now wake up every morning to a fully charged phone. Placement is much easier, also.

We have a land line and my wife uses hers as an alarm clock. If you have a land line, missed calls would be less of an issue.

Yeah, I don't have a landline. And both my wife and I have different schedules so we both use our own as alarms.

I use the round charging pad that was givin to me by best buy. It's the samsung one. Yes I wake up with my phone at about 93 to 97 % this is due to the charger having a feature that stops your phone being over charged. Witch will help ur battery last longer in the long run. You can see this on best buys website when I look at the description of the item. Nothing to do with the carrier or anything it's how it was designed. It just dosnt reconnect to the phone unless u pick up and put it back down.

Leave phone powered on and put the phone on the wireless charger before you go to bed (leave radios on). Let it charge overnight. In the AM (assuming you sleep 4+ hours) the wireless charger LED will be off and the phone will likely be less than 100%.

Please report back.

BTW, its likely not a phone software bug because the phone stays 100% charged when using the Tylt wireless charger. Sure, its possible the OEM Samsung charger has some other method to communicate with the S6 and maybe the phone OS is not communicating properly. I guess time will tell if we see a future software update magically fix the issue.

For me, I prefer the Tylt since I can use the phone while its charging.

I don't power off my phone at all when I go to sleep. When I wake up, the phone is all charged up with the charger light being green as well. It just stays charging like any normal wired charger...

If you have a device that others have the same model and your device doesn't behave properly even after trying everything, take it back and exchange it. Or try another model until you find one that works best for you.

I've confirmed same problem with 3 phones and 2 Samsung chargers. Its either a software issue, or el bos had a special S6 made for him.

You may be the only one.... maybe it is a software bug.... How they got the evil deathstar version right is beyond me.
