FoxFi on Verizon Note 3

Has anyone gotten the Hotspot feature to work? When I turn mine on it shows VZW saying I need to add hotspot to my plan. I close that and it shows FoxFi/PDANet working...but I can't connect with my Nexus 7. Am I missing something?

connect foxfi and when the notice pops up just ignore it and hit the home button and go about your business....works

make sure you leave the pop up message open, don't cancel or close it....just ignore it and hit the home button

This will probably be fixed some time in the future.

So, you can use the GN3 as a hotspot? I have the wifi GN10.1 2014 wifi and I was hoping I could just use my phone as a source of Internet when wifi is not available. Does this eat a lot of battery though?

I do find using your phone as a hotspot drains the battery notably faster.

Of course. The phone is now using Mobile data and then using the wifi radio to spew out the hotspot and transmit the day .

Had paid for foxfi. Was disappointed it would work with note. Now I don't need it! Worked like a charm!

Got it to work again in an odd way. Used my fast reboot app then toggled on and it worked.
