Sometimes after coming off of Wifi or a reboot, my 3G doesn't connect but shows that it's on...I have to go to settings and turn Data off and back on and it connects...

Turning data off then on fixed it to.

As long as you are using the current Titanium Backup it should work. I've restored several things (but there's not a lot of app room so you might not be able to restore everything.)

Just so everyone knows, I'm nearly finished porting the newer KGSL driver and the genlock driver to GingerKernel. I believe these are the final pieces of the puzzle for full H/W Acceleration. Stay tuned...

It is working good for me to.

Right now its looking like it turns 3g off when you are not using it.

casue i look and the 3g is gone until i start to use something to use data then 3g pops back up.

So you couldn't resist testing it out could you?

yeah it's a small patch till the next build. Plus you should gain room for gapps afterwards.

H/W Acceleration is a GO! Currently testing a new build of GingerKernel with this ICS build. Angry Birds Rio runs like a champ, as does the Launcher UI. Expect a build release soon

In settings --> launcher --> clicking icons and dock do nothing. I hear a click, and see the touch response, but it doesn't open any menu.

Drew, does this next build include other fixes besides HW acceleration?

EDIT: Also, can this kernel be flashed for the Cold as Ice ZVD rom or just for the Hydro ZVH CM9?

installed and so far am very impressed. data and wifi work. moving from screen to screen very fluid. youtube FC's but dont normally use it anyways. keyboard is small. i really like the htc_imod keyboard from hydro rom.

holy crapola my S is on crack after the kernal upgrade. will it have the same side effect as a regular drug user and crash hard afterwards...lol...awesome work you guys...i wish i had the patience to do a rom...

No, it does not.

This kernel will work in both ICS ROMs, and will work in all stock-based Gingerbread ROMs too (not including CM7 yet).
