maybe not the best place for this question, but, i noticed my SD card is getting full of a bunch of random old folders of apps i don't use anymore. can i reformat my SD card to get the bare minimum? will i need to save anything specific so as to not screw anything up (the ROM, clockwork, etc)?

Try clearing data for Weather under Manage Applications.

I have been running into an issue with "unclean shutdown. Settings not applied" when I try to change the CPU settings to apply on reboot. I have the settings at

MAX: 1.408 GHz MIN: 245 MHz Governor: ondemandX

What am I doing wrong? Also having trouble with my battery life. I have an extended battery and I can get a full work day out of it, but before I rooted I was getting 15 hours with heavy usage.

Is there something I can do for these issues? I am new at this I just rooted yesterday for the first time and I need some guidance on the particulars of my problems. Thanks.

I have a question. I flashed my non rooted bolt with the MR2 update in June because I was sick of all the rebooting. Last night I rooted my phone. My question is do I flash to the MR2 radio before this ROM or after?

I flashed it before the ROM, I think it works either way but I've heard that some people have had random behavior with the ROM if they flashed the ROM first

I flashed the radio after the ROM. It worked fine. I've seen it suggested both ways on the forums.

Either way is fine, but if you do them both at the same time (which is also fine) and you get stuck in a bootloop you will have to use a card reader or something to remove the radio file from hboot before you can access recovery mode (Without using ADB/terminal commands).

ok so now besides the vm notification not working, this morning my gmail and market apps arent working either , they wont open up. i went to my accounts and my gmail disappeared. what now?

Just flashed RC4 over RC3 after only clearing cache and dalvik three times each (just to be safe). All seems well. Gonna dig deeper and see how my daily apps work. Will post any anomalies.

Did you restore accounts or any data using titanium backup? I restored some data with Ti Backup the first time I flashed the rom and had the same issue with the market. I only used Ti Backup to restore a few user apps that I didn't want to lose the data from and manually logged into my google account afterwards and let market restore the rest of my apps. Also, I used MyBackup Root to restore call logs and sms.. Restoring system data or settings can cause problems and is best to set up manually.

As for the VM notifications, that is a known bug and won't be fixed until the code for it is leaked. There are versions of VVM going around that work for some people but Google Voice is the best option at this point for receiving voicemails with notifications.

I'm having trouble with bluetooth headsets connecting. They are only connecting to media audio and not phone audio. I have three different headsets all with the same issue. Anyone else having this issue?

Currently running RC4 with 2.0 radio.

If you sync docs with Google, all your apps are downloaded back from market after you sign in.
Titanium saves the app data, that's why you would use it. Google syncs back just the app.
Sign in to amazon app store, and the apps should be waiting for you to download.

Btw flashing a radio doesn't wipe data.
