I have used the calculator app on the UKB 2.0, not sure if it would work with CM7, though I don't know why it wouldn't.

that was a question I had too... Whether normal add ons would work with the cm7 build or not?Really like the themed market and mms app that we had on ukb. Anyone?

The 3 bugs I have been having trouble with are:

1) Gapps (Google apps) during sync grinds my processor at 95 - 100% usage and then usually fails.

2) CPU voltage and OC setttings are allied and retained using Voltage Control, HOWEVER, the CPU Governer always trying to go back to "On Demand" and does not want to retain whatever I choose for too long.

3) The most annoying out of the bugs is that my signals (2G/3G data, and WiFi) will be on with WHITE icons on top. They will not actually receive data until I disable them all (including sync). Enable sync, then 3G, 3G icon will appear white then greeen, then I turn on WiFi, this seems to fix it about 75% of the time. Some times I just need to battery pull to get it back. (note: date and time where reconfigured to a foreign time zone and the year 2004 on it's own) I read that this typically is only a problem after a long "deep sleep".

Anyone care to shed some light?

Did you happen to see the part in the instructions about installing GAPPS after you got CM7 installed? That will get your market back.

Is the problem getting a flashlight app to use the camera flash as the light source? Because I can get the apps to use the screen - or an image on the screen - as the light source but not the camera flash. I checked settings in the camera app and there doesn't seem to be anything to change there. Rats.

The only problem i'm having is that my wifi goes in and out and the icons turns white. is there a fix for this yet ?

So after installing my SD card and data were not mounted, fixed in recovery. Then gaaps would not install (installation aborted). Re-downloaded and installed. Now google search widget gone, replaced by "problem loading widget". Can't get Market to load, nor any web site in Browser. I wonder if there is a problem with EC01 radio? Recommended best radio, and is there a .zip I can flash from rcovery or must I use Odin?

Edit: OK, had to turn off WiFi to get 3g to load Market, went to My Apps, dl'd Titanium Backup Pro and trying to install. Says it's installed but it's not showing? And the "open" button in Market does not work either...

edit 2: after initial 3g connection to market it works with wifi now. TB Pro still MIA, sorta: dl'd free one, now when I run it it says Pro, but failed to restore apps...

Sorry if I killed this thread, must be doing it wrong. Anyway got most stuff working except for Touchdown Exchange email. Overall seems like a nice build, my old EC01 radio seems OK and battery life is good so far. Thanks to all.

I'll give the calculator a shot as soon as I make time to try CM7. Kids are visiting GP's starting Sat, maybe I'll have a little more time, hah!

Is this built into the 11.1 version because my GPS locks on super fast with CM7. I always had problems with CommRomm.

It is not built in... it was just posed under that thread. I will tell you that the one thing I find better is the accuracy of the lock. I am MUCH closer now in some of the locations where I wasn't before.

No I don't think so. Ever since I switched over to CM7 my GPS would sometimes have trouble locking and if it did it would take about 2 minutes to get a firm lock. Now it's nearly instantaneous - it's never worked this good for me since day 1. Perhaps it doesn't affect everyone.

Push simply means use a file manager program with full write access (root exporer or super manager are two common programs available on the market)...

Anyway, use the file manager to copy the file into the appropriate system file on your phone

Just flashed CM7 and so far so good! ... only thing. Trying to change my keyboard and can't find the "change input method " anywhere... its not in my Language and Keyboard option. Someone help me out?
