I think we're getting off topic now, so this is my last feedback on the SD card issue.

Yeah I tried all that SD card stuff and it really doesn't do crap. Formatted it on my computer just as described and it would still dismount/mount by itself constantly. Ended up just getting an 8GB class 4 SanDisk from Fry's for 19.99 and it has never dismounted itself once and this was awhile before the VC update.

Isn't the whole point of the SD card fix to get a minimum class 4 card and format it per the steps outlined? If that's what you did, then it did in fact work for you. The SD cards that come stock with Optimus S are crap.

Not everyone, including myself, has had luck with the SD card fix even with a new class 4 card. Works for most, but not a sure thing. Running Lego rom has actually resulted in a decrease in number of unmounts, a phenomenon I haven't put my finger around yet. Might be for the simple fact that Lego is the shiz.

I had the sd issue with my first phone I took it back to best buy and made them give me a new phone under warranty, then bought a 8gig card its been great since

Nick, Ksmith, and Beezy... I just want to thank you guys. I've been trying to get my wife's Optimus dialed in for a few weeks... And this ROM finally did the trick. The phone is fast, responsive, and smooth as butter with Zeife's 748 kernel. She's completely happy with it now and that's a good thing! Anyway, thank you.

I just flashed LEGO Rom on VC and I'm getting a "Hands Free Activation" error and my network goes to 1x. I'm assuming this has something to do with the new radio? Anyways, is there a workaround for this?

How do I get rid of the legoROM boot animation? I deleted it off my SD card but it still plays at reboot.

Also, how much different is this rom from thunderom?

It is very similar in many ways. You can install the TR theme and it will look the same too. The main difference is that many of the components of the ROM are modular, so you can pretty much build your own ROM from the components provided in the first 4 posts.

It really boils down to whether you want to control some additional customization to the ROM or if you like what TR is offering you. I have two Optimus S devices on my plan. One is running Lego ROM and the other is currently on ThundeROM 1.6.2 (soon to be updated to 1.7). I like them both, although I'm seriously tempted to bump my personal phone over to CM7 with gingerbread in the very near future.

well i got the update to stop showing up (at least for now) with the ANTI-OTA build, but im still having issues with the phone getting a data connection. I get an "unable to activate" message... i can still get/make phone calls but no data.. its says 1x but it wont really transfer any data.

edit- switched to thunderrom 1.7, working fine

that just means your lost. tru rebooting and if no go try reloading rom.

Do I have to update to from V9 to VC to use legoROM?
I know you have to do it in ThundeROM, that is the only reason I have not updated ThundeROM to 1.7(Im still on 1.62, but am switching ROM's this weekend as stated before)
