in the update notifications area i click Register, but it keeps failing also, maybe you can remove the FM radio since it doesnt work (that i know of)

I'm kind of a newbie to this stuff and while I love the rom and the fact that after flashing to this ROM my old one, I'm having problems with two things. I didn't see this answered in my thread anywhere...

1. My voice key doesn't work. I press it, it doesn't bring up the normal "say-the-command" thing. Is there a way to fix this, and if so, how?

2. I have headphones that have media function buttons on them. I know they work in some capacity on a stock device--I just tested it on my brother's Optimus S--but they do not appear to work for me. That is, my headphones work like a headset with a call answer button and everything. Any ideas? I'd really love getting this working.

Has anyone else had issues downloading mms sound clips or animated pictures with sound. whenever I try to download it out says download unsuccessful.

I can send and receive pictures just fine.

i need help:
so i have flashed recovery and i installed the rom along with google apps
but now in the cyanogen mod 7 load sequence the loading arrow is stuck at the top
it doesnt proceed
i know that the phone is on
but the reload symbol is stuck
help

I noticed yesterday, using headphones during a call, the microphone doesnt work.

I use pattern lock, and most of the time it works properly; but other times, the main lockscreen comes up before the pattern lock. Kinda weird.

Nevermind, I think this works to solve the behavior -- CyanogenMod Settings --> Lockscreen --> Disable lockscreen on security

Did you do a full system wipe as instructed?

Drew, you know about the problem I had, well, sure enough I found my own assbackwards way of getting it fixed.

When do you think (if ever) will we have powered off charging. If my phone is powered off, I plug in a charger it boots the phone. If I shutdown the phone with a charger plugged in it just restarts! How weird or is it a known issue?

It's a feature, not a bug. If I can find a way to reverse this I will, but it's not very high on my priority list.

You are getting way too ahead of things. I only announced that I was working on an OTA update mechanism, not that it was available.

Hey drew, great work. Just flashed stable 001. WifiAP crashed my phone 3 times but is working now. Besides that this is a truelly wonderful rom. You and of course blarf do stellar work. I'll thank you both next time I'm on my computer

just installed teh 8.02 version and so far so good. heck 2 hours off the charger and still at 100%

I've got a good 12 hours hard use out of the one im running :3
