Does this need to be "Run as Administrator"? I know that seems to help sometimes.

Not the issue in this case. In this case the repair CDT option is being run for whatever reason. It's not even trying to do a reinstall.

Any updates on the search to find a root exploit on JB? Or has that been exhausted to no avail? Hadn't heard anything so thought I would ask.

I can tell you right now that log is NOT from a reinstall option. It's from the fix CDT option. So, I don't know what to tell you.

Well I run the HoB and pick option 1) 987222 options then I pick option 2) reinstall 987222 then 2 other screens that tell me about not having safestrap iinstalled and how to turn on ADB when ai continue it goes to this screen.

I haven't heard anything either. Last I knew P3Droid was reaching out to Dan to see if one of the RAZR exploits could be repurposed for the Bionic. I was told it may take a few days. Haven't heard anything since.

Like I said, it's not doing the right thing. I don't believe it's a bug though as I've had about 3 other people do this. Switch flash modes to moto-fastboot and try again. See what happens. Copy the output from the HoB cmd window when it's done flashing and paste it here.

A BIG thanks to Sam and his HoB! I had problems updating to JB via OTA and I went through HoB and now all went through without a hitch!!

I'm not sure if you're not going to the next step after the first flash or if there's something wrong. Either way, let's just get this done.

o) Put your phone in AP Fastboot mode and connect to USB
o) Open a command prompt to the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic folder then type the following commands:

utils\moto-fastboot flash system 246_FXZ\system.img
utils\moto-fastboot flash preinstall 246_FXZ\preinstall.img
utils\moto-fastboot flash boot 987222\boot.img

If those 3 flash commands succeed, shut the phone off, then boot into recovery and apply the update. Done.

How do I use this "new and improved" keyboard? I had been using TouchPal Keyboard V5, but wanted to see if the new stock one is any good. If anybody knows how to enable the gesture typing on the stock one, or knows a better keyboard I should install, can you let me know? Thanks!

It's my development version. I always up the version after a release. 9.5 is the latest.

This is a windows thing. You open a command prompt and cd to the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic directory on your desktop. Once there, type the commands I gave you.

It then says error: cannot load '246_fxz\system.img'

Does that file exist? I assume you have a 246_FXZ directory in there, yes? And it has the FXZ files extracted? This could be part of the original problem if the HoB wasn't installed correctly.

the fxz directory is in there but it is empty I downloaded the fxz again after the first failure and the HoB did it's stuff but it is still empty. Do you think I should unistall the HoB and start all over.
