I've had this phone for a couple of months. It is still on it's shipped OS of 4.1.2. I am in the UK.
When travelling with it, it reset itself frequently. This is because there is a bug with it when using 3G (HSPCA?). It took a long time to experiment and find
this, but I have confirmed that the phone does not rest when 'Use only 2G networks' is selected under 'Mobile Networks'.
I've never rooted the phone, and have reset to factory settings and confirmed this with no additional apps installed.
I contacted the vendor (an Amazon.co.uk vendor) to ask advice. They told me that it's a known problem with this Samsung phone, to do with moving between 3G and 2G zones. They said that Samsung have not fixed it yet, ie no software available to address it.
Does anyone else have this problem?
