is there anything i can reinstall to get process com.noshufou.android.su working i looked in the manage apps list and that process is not there dont know if it should be or not

i seen there was an update fix for SU tried that but it cant get root access says to try to download it direct from site if i do that i put the zip on the sd card then go into CWR and install zip from sd?

I think you need to check to be sure you have a rooted device... first, make sure you don't have any files with the name PG05IMG.zip... if you do you need to rename the file. Then power down... when your device has fully powered down, press and hold the Volume Down, then press and hold the Power button also, after about 10 seconds let go of the Power button, then the Volume down button... this will boot you into the hboot screen (it's a white screen)... do you have S-On or S-Off???

After you find that info, then select Reboot... it might power down, but just use the Power button to come back up.

If it says S-off, then that means the Security if Off, which means you are rooted... which is Good!!!

If it was me, I'd flash the ROM again... download the file again, double check the MD5 Sum code of the ROM again, then put that on your SD card overwriting the old ROM file... wipe your data, cache and Dalvik cache, then install the ROM.

Something did not go correct and I think it's the best solution.

The MD5 Sum code is the code next to the Download file, when you downloaded the ROM from the first post. I think there is app to check this MD5 Sum code, but I don't know it or use it... I use a PC app called winMd5Sum, it free download on the web... it's a good check to make sure you got the correct download file, and in this case the ROM.

Make sure the PG file is in the root (no pun intended) directory. If you have ROM Manager (awesome program), you can put it anywhere and then navigate to it and then install it from there. That is what I do!

You need to boot into Recovery... I sure hope you were able to flash ClockworkMod Recovery onto your device... the first time I did it was with ROM Manager. If you did then you can boot into the hboot screen, then go into Recovery... if not I'll see if I can find the load file.

man what a pain in my butt tried reflashing the rom made it all the way to selecting it then it aborted bad zip file WTF now im redownload it again to my pc and ill try it again another thing when i get into hboot it reads the sd i think and a PG file pops up for a split second not even long enough to read it entirely but if i look for a PG file i dont see one unless it hidding

ill try it again this download i copied and pasted the # from here then i put the file i downloaded into the other box and hit compare i think and it created a # but they were different but i dont know if i did it right

So does anyone know...now that the "official" OTA for Gingerbread has been release....was there anything amazing in there at this ROM doesn't have? From the youtube videos I saw, I'd say no. But I'm very curious.

The biggest thing for me (which was one of the top reasons I bought the TB) is video chat (ACTUALLY USING A FF CAMERA!). I can't believe this still isn't possible yet. Did the new OTA have this? I know BF 1.0.6 had it, but the FF cam was sideways. Does 1.0.7 fix that (i'm updating now from 6->7)?

Thanks for the amazing ROM and for giving us (apparently) everything OTA was planning to + more!

So how much different is 1.0.7 from the 1.0.6 version from the users perspective? Asking because on 2 occasions in the middle of the night on the 1.0.6 version, my phone just turned itself off. I have to pull the battery and power on to get it back to life. It's rather annoying since I was late for work on both occasions. I know this happened to a few others but has it been addressed in this version?

Death sleep seems to be a kernel problem? Setting your minimum CPU speed to 368mhz should alleviate most of your problem.

I noticed that battery stats wipe through rom manager messes up the lock screen. The icon disapears and wont come back no matter what you do unless reflash the rom. Also notice that its possibky due to it deleting bamf extra folders.

Now i just gotta deal with this gps issue.
I did recovery to stock rooted. Get a gps lock. Then go through the process of flashing 1.07. Still waiing for gos to lock ..its been neally 1hr. Could possibly due to my office building though.

Ajy suggestion to fix this gps woukd be great.

I have deleted battery stats from BAMF settings and had no issues on the lock screen.
