I got vvm free for 6 months so I hate to lose it.
What is really vital is touchdown and I'm still waiting to hear if it works. Hard to believe nobody here uses it.

Honestly, I dont even know what Touchdown is (other than Football of course), otherwise I would report back to you.

How come you cannot use the mass deletion option for text messages on this ROM? Also my wife as been getting 2-3 shutdowns a week, anyone else?
I get the occasional shut down. Happened 3 times so far since 1.0.7 has been out. Only way to get the phone back on is to pull the battery.
Not sure about the text messages... using Handcent.
Shut downs? Battery pulls needed? Just scared me.off again. LOL

Do I delete BAMF_Extras folder under your sd card prior to installation. So i delete this file on the zip I downloaded?
if you are coming from a prior install delete the installed extras on your sd card. Once you install this one, it will put the new extras folder there. Do NOT delete the one on the zip you just got

I posted this in the cubed thread by accident earlier. Does anyone know how to change my default notification sound to something other than the sound of thunder in this ROM. No matter what change I make in settings I still hear thunder when I get a text message. I even checked the settings in Handcent.
Phoenix111- Go into your messages app and change the sound for notifications in that app. That will change your notification sound when receiving text messages, even in handcent. (at least that worked for me) 
Maybe someone can help me. Before I rooted, I had both Facebook for Android, and Facebook for HTC Sense linked to most of my contacts. When I'd click on a contact in my people widget it gave me the option to visit their Facebook profile with either app (android or HTC Sense).
After root, I still have everything set up the same, and everyone is still linked, but it only gives me the option to view with Facebook for HTC Sense, which I hate. It also says "Account unlock" for some contacts. Can anyone explain this, and how I can get it to give me the option for the other fb as well?

I just flashed this ROM and greatly love it! The only problem so far is that the HTC People widget will not display the pictures of the contacts ...the contact is there, but there seems to be something wrong with the display of the image.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing that? Thanks!

Mine works as well. The only feature I'd like to see with this weather lockscreen though, it the ability to use our defaut wallpaper

Make sure you have Google location services checked in settings. Also, when I first flashed the ROM, it took a while for it to sync properly. Check the frequency of updates in the main weather widget, too. I think mine was defaulted at like 3hrs or something.
I would like to know what the Account Unlock on my contacts/facebook link also means. It just started happening and im on 1.0.6. Im also using Go Launcher so its not a Sense thing.

Is there anything you had to do other than click on the weather lockscreen to get it to work. Mine still doesn't work.
