Okay MC511. Good for you. Iimagine you have your Nexus 7. No shipping costs, I guess. I will stay out or your wallet, if you will stay out of mine.
So you're just here to troll then?I pre ordered from gamestop on 7/10/12 at 7:26pm. Picked mine up friday morning. Thanks for asking![]()
So you're just here to troll then?
Then don't tell people that its silly to worry about this stuff. When you are giving me my money, you can tell me how to feel about spending it.Nope. Just talking to others about the tablet. I just see alot of complaining and whining threads.

Find a more legitimate claim. And stop posting about it.
So whats your claim?Hold it right there son. Don't you dare try to tell me what I can and can't post about. I find it insulting that you feel as though you can talk to me like I'm below you.
I'm no kid. I earn every single dime I have. When I get the shaft on something that costs me money I didn't need to spend, I have EVERY RIGHT to be pissed off about it. You can come in with wise ass comments, but in the end you're just here to troll and laugh at those of us who happened to be unlucky enough to order early directly from Google.
My claim is just as legitimate as yours is. The only difference is I was never arrogant enough to tell you to stop posting about it.

Awkward. You were just telling him how he should conduct his business on here, but whatever. Tomato tomato I suppose.
My claim is that those of us who preordered directly from Google were misled, either intentionally or unintentionally, that the Play Store would be the only place you could preorder from. Because of this, myself (and countless thousands of others) ordered from Google.
Fast forward a week or two, and all of a sudden you can now order from other retailers. Ok. That's cool. More choices are good. THEN the nonsense starts. We're stuck paying an extra $15 shipping. Ok, I guess I can live with that since I'll get mine as soon as they're available. Nope. Wrong again. You ordered yours FIVE days ago. I ordered mine seconds after the Keynote on day one ended. You have yours. I do not. I can not cancel my order, as Google will not allow it (and never would, people tried weeks ago). I can not afford to float two charges, so I can't exactly run out and find one on sale retail and then refuse delivery.
This whole situation was handled poorly on Google's part. In the end, I'd settle for just an honest explanation from Google. I give up on the money, as I know that's a lost cause. I just want to know how they dropped the ball as badly as they did, and what they'll do to fix it so it never happens again. I'm most certainly not the only person who feels this way. Search Google (ironic, right) for "Nexus 7 Launch fiasco" and see what comes up. Read threads at every single Android forum about how customers are angry. Google did not provide good customer service, and we, as customers, want Google to at least attempt to make things right, even if it's only a simple "Sorry, we screwed up. We apologize, and it won't happen again".
Google never said it was exclusive. Idk where people got that info from. And as far as shipping costs, have you ever ordered anything online? Did google say free shipping? I never heard that.
Thats good that you settle for an explanation. I am sick of seeing refund this and refund that. I do think google should tell people what happened. But refund them shipping? no that goes too far.
MC511. You are making this personal. Do not for a second pretend that you know the circumstances of others. You've traveled the world and have seen poverty. Big deal. Most of us haven't had to travel the world to see poverty or despair. Let's keep this civil and on topic. This thread is a distraction for many of us who do deal with real world issues on a daily basis. I'm not here to compare life experiences with you..
That's just it, Google never said it was, but if you watched the Keynote live, that was the impression you got. I wasn't the only one. In hindsight, they never said it was a Google exclusive at launch, but that's sure how they made it sound. Ask anyone who ordered right after watching the Keynote. I'll bet, almost to a man, that they all tell you that was their impression. Obviously we were mistaken.
