They wont give it to you! I think people have tried that... Linwood is about 2 hours or so from me... it is tempting.

If it is Fed Ex they will not give it to you. It is sitting in a locked container that is not allowed to open under any circumstance until it is the assigned delivery date.

Quote for truth. Used to work customer service for FedEx, and they will not open that case just for a few packages unless medical emergency or something of the sort.

If they actually ship the phones as the order status page says on 8/17-8/18, then I really won't know how to feel.

I'll hate them, 'cause they didn't ship early, and I need my fix and I can be unreasonable when I need my fix. Then again, I'll respect them a little as they did what they said they would, which is rare for AT&T.

Well, I'm still stuck in Memphis as of 3:30 am. Nothing all day. I don't mind getting it on Friday but I need to see some movement! It reassures me they did not forget/lose my phone and it is still on its way. I'd even be happy with another "arrived at facility, Memphis, TN" again...

Mine says the exact same thing so I think it's all good. They will probably really start shipping our stuff Thursday and get it by Friday. I'm really excited too, considering I have not upgraded my Note 2 for years,I bet this will be a gratifying experience!

They bumped my delivery time from Friday 4:30 p.m. to now Friday at 8 p.m.

Ive only been pre-ordering phones for the last year and a half maybe. Before that time i would just go to the store on release day and pick one up.. I think i may start doing that again... pre ordering has been very stressful.
I didnt have much issues with the S7 edge i pre ordered i recieved that 3 days early with no holds.

Could have gotten the Note 7 quicker walking into a store on Friday instead of pre ordering. The promo items will take months to receive from Samsung/Prize Logic. :'(
