I mean no offense to you personally, but I put as much stock in the battery
"science" we tend to see as I do in the FDR-fixes-all-your-problems copout.
A factory reset isn't meant to be a fix all your problems solution. It's simply a means to distinguish whether the user has a software or a hardware issue.
I've been charging overnight for many years. From various BlackBerry models, to the Droid Razr Maxx HD, to the Droid Maxx, to the Droid Turbo, to the G4.
I rebooted my phone today and the battery was stuck on 80% and it claimed that my service was disabled. It took multiple reboots for my phone to stop glitching. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
I'm using T-Mobile and I'm using the LG-H811 model
Its ok i got the pro version for free. However what more is required for better SOTThe quick answer is get Lux (there's a free version but I paid for it). Chances are you can set your brightness much more dim than the G4 will set it by itself, or than a constant 35%. Lux is a great tool.
The most screen on time that I got was about 7 1/2 hours but this was due to Sprint sending out a system update with a system notification which turned on my screen and kept it on while I was sleeping so nothing else was really going on with the phone during the time.
I keep my phone at auto brightness at 80% and most of the time battery usage for the screen is in single digit percentages when I go to recharge. Even that time I had the overnight screen on issue due to the Spint notification the screen only used about 35% of the battery.
The screen on this thing is amazingly efficient.
What do you keep your brightness on to get 5 hours SOT?
