Low Memory Warning keeps popping up, how to stop?

I already did that. Cleared out Dalvik Cache in Titanium and cleaned out cache files in multiple cache cleaning programs.

still say you have a bug. backup your apps but not your data and use Matt's 1.81 utility to get back to stock, reroot and re install safestrap.

Moved about 100MB more back to the app storage, and now each space has about 1.97 and 1GB available respectively. Warnings have not reoccurred for a bit, but will report back if anything changes. Will try the back to stock approaches if nothing else works. Am keeping fingers crossed that I've found the right balance.

warnings stopped. I think 1Gig might be the internal storage threshold.

What the ...? Is that Joseph Gordon-Leavitt?

Anyway, what that forum post was saying, I think, was that the threshold for the low memory warning is when you're down to about 10%. So since Internal Storage is 8 GB, the low memory warning should go off around 800 MB.

Haha, that image is too funny. Problem is solved, I think. So now I know what the threshold of pain is for the phone. With everything I cleared off, it's running like it's brand new.

Problem came back briefly after taking photos, which were quickly transferred to the microSD card. I think the number hovers just around 1 gig, but cannot be sure. I do know that my total number of apps amounts to less than one gig, and there are more than 4 gigs of apps put on there by Motorola and Verizon. I wish I could interpret the weird naming conventions used for system apks.

You can set the camera to save photos directly to the external SD card.

Problem is back, and I have moved all apps that I can to the Application storage. I have no extra junk in the form of media other than my ringtones. And I know they don't take up that much space. I really wish I knew what system apps were taking up that 5 gigs of space in Internal Storage. BTW, does anyone know the .apk name for Google+? I don't use the app and I want to dump it. Also, have not installed any new apps that would cause this problem to reoccur.

How do I get into recovery mode? Do I need a special app to get into that mode, or just some key combination?

here is something a little easier. doesn't the maxx come with a stock file browsing app? go into your internal memory and browse the file folders. i bet you will find a few folders that apps long gone have left behind. delete them. also the files in the LOST.DIR folder can be deleted ont he internal memory and the sd card. you'll be surprised how much crap old apps leave behind once uninstalled.

I haven't had a chance to try the File Manager idea, but wouldn't any file management program work like Astro? I don't know of any apps that work like Revo Uninstaller on the PC to clean up old install files.
