I was making pasta last night and noticed one of the noodles broke when I was putting them into the pot. Needless to say I'll never buy that brand again. I'm amazed that this lack of QC was allowed out of the noodle factory. I also bought some piping and noticed it would bend when I took a torch to it. Are you kidding me?? who makes bendable piping?? I heard some people have the same bad luck with cars, they actually dent when you hit something. SMH!!!

Got mine yesterday, and also no bulge , scratches, pits or other defects. Just hope I can keep it that way.

Lol, to be fair... I've had cars with metallic flakes missing in a few areas and made them take it back.

You kidding me, I went to this restaurant and the hue on the appetizer wasn't the same as the picture..., damn right I got my money back, what kind of BS is this?!?!

I'd return it asap. You shouldn't have to deal with a subpar coating issue on a 2015 flagship and other companies seem to have managed aluminum this year without this happening.

Are you using a case? If not, anything in your pocket can scratch it.

I am having the exact same problem with my graphite. The phone has developed scratches around the camera lens window. I've taken care of the phone but not had it on a case. It seems the anodizing near the glass isn't as good a the rest of the back. I don't know what the exact cause is, but I guarantee others will experience of as time goes on. It isn't a huge deal but IMHO, while the 6p looks premium, it isn't built as well as the iPhone or even Samsung phones. Huwai did a commendable job, but if you read the article on how they got to build the 6p, you can see they didn't have a whole lot of time. Apple has the benefit of a year long cycle and the ability to focus resources refining the phone just a bit more every year. With a quick turnaround around 6p, some compromises were made. With Google's shifting around who builds the nexus you lose that slower, deliberate evolution of the hardware. Huwai has done the best job I've seen so far with a nexus and also managed to keep up with demand

Since you don't know what the cause is you can't guarantee it'll happen to everyone else eventually. Too many factors come into play that have to be considered. Poor quality product always slips through the cracks of QC. You can't predict doom and gloom for everyone else just because you're experiencing it. Now if Huawei issues a statement about the graphite process being flawed then you'll be on to something.
I agree with most of everything else you said. Huawei is a growing company. And they're growing quickly and learning quickly. Next year's device will be even better. I'm on board because I like what they're doing.

Back Camera Glass Cracking

So I've seen a couple of posts talking about the back camera glass spontaneously cracking. My 6P is being delivered in two days. Has anyone experienced this issue.

I doubt it's spontaneous. If I had to take a guess people have put their phone down firmly and the glass cracked. It will be the primary contact point (the hump) if you toss the phone on a counter.

I wore sweats today and my phone fell out of my pocket onto the concrete pavement as I was getting out of the car. It fell on its face and I have a plastic screen protector and the Adopted case from Play Store. No damage. My 6S Plus was also in my pocket and landed on it's face. Only my Glass Invisible Shield is cracked.

How long did your heart stop for? The glass protector did it's job! Took the energy of the impact to protect the screen. My 6P will not leave the house until I get my glass protector on it...and I have Nexus Protect.

That's why I'll definitely be rocking a case with my 6P. Included the Adopted case with my order.
