There are still more people with 3G phones than LTE out there. Also, don't ever think "everybody" is waiting for GNEX just because all of us on this forum and others are waiting for GNEX. There are whole lot of people out there don't know anything about GNEX. We are only a very small minority.

Thats a given. I never said that EVERYBODY is waiting for the GN... They havent even put out ads for the GN.. We all know their pride and joy is their droid line... AKA the Razor right now. We all will be beta testers for ICS.

a 6 day time frame is not pretty accurate. Pretty accurate is a 2 day window. 6 days is just as much of a guess as 3 weeks.

Why does everyone need constant verification of a phone's specs?
Whenever you see a video of a new phone, you have someone going to the "About" settings right off the bat to show "Android 4.0.1" or "1 GB Ram". By the time the video "review" is two-thirds of the way over, nothing new has been said about the phone.

The testers probably found another software bug and decided that it would be smarter to fix it rather than knowingly release a phone (with no official release date) with issues. Very wise move IMO. Obviously the nerds will freak out but there is a reason Verizon is number one across the board,

lol...c'mon man.... if they keep stopping and delaying this due to bugs it will never be released. They should come out and just say that they haven't made enough money on the Razr and Rezound yet..everyone would respect them more.

The store I go to in SF says the same thing. I have my fingers crossed that I might be able to get one on Friday either due to a miracle or communication ineptitude on the branch's part, but will not get my hopes up.

I think I might stop by the store that's closest to my office after work (in about 2.5 hours) and just ask them a few questions regarding getting a new sim for my Thunderbolt so I can give it to my mom when I get the Galaxy Nexus and then ask when it's supposed to be released.

By that time if it really is delayed hopefully all of the stores will know.

Sorry I didn't get on sooner, I had a lot of errands to do. Anyway, I got the same answer that many others got... that is has been pushed back and that they don't know when it will be released. Before I got to talk to someone I heard two reps talking about it being because of the 4G outage. At that time 4G was still up and running here in St. Louis and then just about 10 minutes later we lost 4G.

Just heard from a engineer friend at VZW that they were ordered to kill 4G and blame it on an unknown problem so they could delay the nexus for another week.
