Hey nate do you know how to get the skin you have after you first install the rom? I changed it and now i dont have it or can't find it.:'(

That is the first/HTC skin under skins.

Should HTC Sense still work after this? I'm just curious as I noticed I was unable to make it work after this ROM... Not a deal killer in the least lol - but I figured I should ask

This is an HTC Sense rom. Forgive me if your question makes no sense (see what I did thar) to me.

True, but when I was in stock I had 0 problems, and when I was rooted but "un-rommed" I had 0 problems.

Did you uninstall/remove the .apk associated with "Messages"? I think it is required to allow handcent to work. I just turned the notifications from Messages off, and then removed it from my homescreens so it wouldn't bother me anymore

I meant don't delete it!

Using 'Messages,' can you send and receive texts? If so handcent should be working as well. If not... you may have deleted something on accident but we'll get it fixed!

Yes I can text with the default messages app but handcent and Gosms both crash when I try to use them.

Try turning off the notifications in the stock messaging app and see if that helps. Also, have you tried deleting the data and reinstalling the apps? Finally, did you clear data and caches before installing the ROM?

This Rom killed my battery. I thought it would help the battery. It used 50% of it in less then 3 hrs. dead in 5.5hrs with very little use i was at work. So went back to stock, which last all day.

i came from og and going to root and start flashing and i have been seeing stuff about the radios. now do i have to update the radio before i flash 1.5 or am i good to go ? also is cwr easiest to get from rom manager or .......

Strange... I just came in here to brag about my AWESOME battery life. I've been EXTREMELY impressed!

Probably come off the charger at full 100% around 3:30 this afternoon... its almost 12 hours later and I'm only at 67%. This is 100% WIFI but NO 4G. I don't get it yet in my area. Here are some usage stats/info on the phone:

Droid 2.2.1 (lol duh)
ROM: BAMF Remix 1.5
Kernel: Imoseyon LeanKernel Normal 1.0 (2.6.32.31)
Radio: 1.13.605.7 [not sure if this is the combo CDMA/LTE new radio or not. I'm assuming it is because if it was the new CMDA but old LTE I'm sure it would say 2 versions]

Battery UPTIME: 31h 21m
Battery AWAKE: 17h 23m
- display 44%
- standby 28%
- idle 8%
- maps 5%
- wifi 5%
- Android system 5%

Spare Parts, since last unplugged:

Running: 17.4%
Screen on 8.5%
Phone on 0.1%
Wifi on and running: 100%

Looking good... and like I said... very surprised !

I'm going to take a wild guess you didnt flash properly. Follow Cyber Warrior's guide on how to flash roms/kernels. Also if you're backing up and restoring data to a new rom, make sure it's just apps and no system data.

Quick and dirty:

ROM Manager can get you to recovery pretty easily. You can do it manually of course by powering off and then holding volume down and power at startup. I use both methods...

Yes, flash radio before installing the rom. DL the P50IMG0.zip or whatever its called to your SD card. Leave it zipped. You'll want to install this via HBOOT, so just power your phone off normally. Turn on using VolumeDown+Power. It'll go into HBOOT and find P50IMG0.zip and ask if you want to update. Say yes. Let it do its thing and reboot when asked.

Once booted back up, delete that P50IMG0.zip from your sdcard card (if you don't it'll keep trying to install it via HBOOT). Download the zip for the ROM. Use ROM manager to go into recovery. Erase cache, go into advanced, erase dalvik (I'd do a data wipe too, but thats just .... YOU'LL LOSE IT ALL!). Install from zip. Choose zip. Choose the one you put on your SD card. Let it go.

BTW, do A BACKUP first BEFORE you flash the radio and the ROM so you don't get a headache if something F's up.
