This or maybe just the stock GB browser. I kinda hate HTC'S browser actually. I want my status to be present and i want more than 4 windows

Scott - Thanks again for all of your work with this ROM. Everyone I know who has a 3D is now using it. You're a genius.

Hoping you may have some insight on this.
My signal has always been less than fantastic when I was on stock, but I was always able to get a 3G signal. Since I flashed CleanROM and the new radios you linked to earlier this week, I'm hanging on 1x. I believe it's not the rom, but is there any way it could impact the signal?

Is there a better radio out there or any tweaks to boost signal strength. I've seen the threads on XDA to boost 4G and 3G speeds but no dice because the signal is awful. This is the 4th handset so I know it's not a faulty unit. Any ideas, o wise one?

Do a FULL WIPE OF EVERYTHING before flashing (in recovery)

I wiped and flashed stock. I've been 3G for a couple of hours and haven't seen the dreaded 1x once. I'm open to being your guinea pig, I really love your rom.

Now, wipe complete / factory reset and re-flash CleanROM. Report back.

Does anyone by any chance have a flashable zip for the stock battery icon without the percentage and the 3D homescreen display setting?

Now, wipe complete / factory reset and re-flash CleanROM. Report back.

Report: Rom flashed, back to 1x. I've tried it at work and even at home on my airrave.

Maybe flash the rom and then reflash the radio's again? I'm just as interested in you getting this to work because it might solve my problem as well and I really want to use this rom.

I have the radio zip if you need it.

What version of CleanROM are you flashing?

GO to settings - About Phone -> Software versions

All of the above assumptions are correct.
Additionally, my hboot is 1.40.110 (was 1.3 before I rooted....weird!)
Recovery is TWRP 1.0.3 based on Android system recovery 2e.

Have you updated your PRL since going to 2.2?

I didn't get my 3G back until I flashed the latest firmware, AND then updated my PRL.

SirWill - Yes, I updated the prl about 400 times.
Basically I wiped everything, flashed the most recent radio, wiped, flashed the rom, then updated profile and PRL.
There's a post in the main forum about the new PRL actualy being an issue.

I was seeing this on another forum as well.

Easy way to fix this is flash the stock radio I noted earlier and dont take the PRL / PRI Update.

I would try that next....

That other post may have solved my issue, partially. I now have around 500kbps down but only 24 up on stock which is faster than before.

I'll reload CleanRom now and see if it shows 3G. I have a feeling my phone was showing 3G on stock and 1X on your rom because of the PRL.

I pushed the 21081 PRL mentioned but am using radio 0.97.10.0808 and *PRI* is 1.24_003. Is there a better radio/pri combo to use to bring this back to life even further?

No dice. Stock shows 3g and this ROM shows 1x. The prl thing didn't do much. So....how do I restore EVERYTHING to out of the box factory, like prl, pri, and radios? Maybe I'll try that and even reroot if needed. I see the post but will those instructions restore that stuff too? Any other ideas? Thanks.
