Sorta... You want to look at something more like this: [MOD/TOOL] ******The Configurator 2.0 - AppsBak - SickTweaks******Updated 9/23 - xda-developers
Its an all inclusive package. What you linked to was the source code.
But yeah, I know what you mean about the week being over.
I strayed to CM7 Alpha 3 yesterday. I'm back on 2.5 now. CleanROM is just plain awesome!
Thanks again. Got it and flashed both. I confirmed the kernal and I don't see an app or any reference of the configurator 2.0 in the app drawer. Is there supposed to be? I assume so as how else would you be able to adjust. I re-flashed and still nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks.
No, its command line driven. You will not see any special items in the app drawer. For the most part you can use a text editor to modify the changes. Its not very user friendly for configuration but it does do the job quite nicely when you get it configured.
Just change the max freq. Leave everything else alone. Its already preset to what I think is optimal. Obvisouly you can play but thats your choice. I ran this tghing hard at 1.8GHZ but it killed battery and became erratic from time to time. But hey, who wants a stable phone? lol Not fun!I ended up reading about it on XDA and found out how to get to it using Root Explorer. I was able to set the max frequency to 1.6 as you mentioned. Not sure how to do much else, but will continue to learn about it. Appreciate all the info and help! Looking forward to checking out xROM....or whatever the final name is when finished. Sounds pretty great based on the beta user feedback so far.

As far as xROM, its tight man... Real tight. CleanROM Base, Performance geared, my own theme. What more do you want? lol I hope to release it tomorrow. IM skittish though, I don't like releasing OC'ed ROMS. It turns into a support nightmare real fast but i have a good feeling about this one. As long as people dont try to OC it on there own and leave all the defaults all will go smooth.
just wanted to say for any potential users, i am 10 hours and 20 minutes on battery power today and still have 3/4 battery left. pretty damn good if you ask me! i am more than happy with this rom.
Scott, I am running v2.4 and love it, really stable. However, today I noticed one quirk that hopefully you have a solution for. It seems that when its available, I keep getting sent to the mobile version of websites instead of the desktop version even though I have the "mobile version" option unchecked in the browser settings. I know this was definitely not an issue on the stock ROM. I have also tried clearing both the cache and cookies but the issue still persists. Some mobile websites have a link to view the full website so I will use that option when available but not all the mobile websites give that option. Any advice or ideas you may have is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Mobile version is only an option for websites that use it.
Change the UA string in Settings to Desktop. Then browser tells website its a desktop computer. Bam!
Any chance you could figure out how to do something like this in the ROM as a mod?

Gonna install cleanROM on Tuesday(next day off). I will have to reinstall my market apps, yes? Gameloft games? Will they still be free since I have bought them already? Will I lose my progress in N.O.V.A.?
Where is this "custom recovery"? I kinda wanna do this right now.
Have you rooted yet? If not and you choose the Revolutionary method, TWRP recovery is included in there. Just say yes when it asks you if you want to install it.
Wait, now I'm second guessing myself...is it TWRP or Clockwork that's included?? Either way, you'll get a recovery by using that method.
Sent from my hacked up 3VO!!
