[ROM][5/23/12][4.0.4][AXI0M] CROSSBREED and PATIENT ZERO

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Just jumped into the PatientZer0 madness. I was looking at LiquidSmooth 1.2, but The0ry's stuff has been good to me. Hopefully replacement phone #3 plays well with Trinity...

Early reports on Hive is that it may take a day or so for the kernel to properly "set."

I'll second that.. I'm no complainer, but idle drain has been very high for me since flashing.. Tho it seems like it may now be settling, after a good 14+ hrs, so just be aware. I'm also experimenting with a few minor tweeks but won't report til I see anything concrete/verifiable.

I also read reports that a few may be having issues with the alarm clock. Thankfully I have a new puppy so waking up on time for work won't be an issue.

As of right now drain is enormous, but I will be patient and see what happens. My last Nexus loved Crossbreed V6 with Trinity.

I was also thinking my battery was dropping faster then on v14.
Battery at 39%, boot up time 9hrs 40 min.,screen on time 1.5 hrs.Stock battery on WiFi's most of time.
Thats a few hrs worse then I did have on v14
.But gunno go tho a few battery cycles and see how much it improves. :)

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Has anyone else been having problems with Crossbreed / Trinity? Every time I flashed Crossbreed/Trinity I would get lock ups and random reboots on my phone. I'm assuming the undervoltage is too much for my phone. The only way I was able to get Trinity kernel based Crossbreed ROMS was to flash the ROM, then flash the Franco Kernel before rebooting. Otherwise my phone would lock up during registration.

Drive - you can either do what you just said or alternatively, perhaps try flashing franco immediately after PZ/CB has installed. Another possible option is to raise the voltage by 25 on all relevant cpu increments.

Waiting for the UI update =D loven the rom, not liking the theme that comes with it =(

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

It's not a bad update, although as soon as I said I haven't had problems with the preset voltages I woke up this morning to it frozen on the lock screen, and it was 4:00 AM, even though it was 7:00 AM. Upped all my voltages +25 across the board, and it ran fine all day. A little disappointed that first the wrong GAPPS was uploaded, and then work wasn't complete. You couldn't use YouTube because when packaged the YouTube app was stuffed in the apps folder in zip format, so that had to be extracted and the zip replaced with the apk. I attribute that to the whining and crying of the Hide members (not all) begging.

Reading the comments over there is like reading a transcript of a really bad Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure movie, with a bunch of 12 year olds. Oh DT, this ROM is running "buttery smooth", it's so "sick", it's "insane", it's so blazing fast it's insane, like you can really tell the difference from one to the next.

Just had to get that out. :D

Good ROM. A keeper. A few annoying oversights, but they keep getting better.

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

So these are two separate roms right? crossbreed and patientZERO?

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Important Update if you're on Patient Zero V15, from droidhive:
"Boys and Girls...

Using Root Explorer. Navigate to /system/etc/init.d

Mount System RW

Long Press the 99cmplxth3ory and select Open in text editor.

Near the bottom the section

#Database
#xxxsqlitezxzxcccxx

Remove that entire section up to the next # leaving a space between the 2.

Save and exit/reboot."

When you're done it should look like this: http://img.tapatalk.com/4cbad80a-0dc2-a2fe.jpg

This was keeping some significant tweaks from working and keeping phones from entering deep sleep in some cases, lol :)

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

That's a pretty easy fix if it works, thanks for posting directions here :)

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

That was definetely good info to have. Hopefully this will fix the horrendous battery life I've been having. If not, I have the latest Trinity as a go-to.

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Seems smoother than code name to me. I've always went back and forth between this and Liquid smooth. When Liquid gets re-based to 4.0.4 I will probably jump back and DD that one for a while.

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

Man i'm starting to have all kinds of issues with b15. Had made a nandroid and flashed Javroch's clean aosp rom to check things out, and since i restored it's been going haywire. Gmail app is gone. app drawer sometimes isnt showing up.

Might do a clean install. otherwise it's back to b14 for a day or two.

Re: [ROM][3/27/12][4.0.4]AXI0M Crossbreed & PATIENT ZERO

I flashed Zero Patient last night. It was running great, except the screen looked kinda blue. I tried to adjust the color using color multiplier tuning under rom control, and it didn't really do anything.
