I flashed it and maybe it's just placebo but I think it feels a little smoother.

OK to DF this jump? or I just might wait a few more releases if DFing is OK.

I have noticed that is is sluggish compared to Euro10, not sure if its the kernel or the ROM. Might have to try Franco out. also I it has been freezing, if I try to use the back arrow to backout of an app it will hang take about 30 sec's before it happens.

The Milestone actually came after the latest nightly (r241), so I'd say go with that.
In regards to flashing kernels, can you flash them in the same session as the Rom (with original kernel) and GAPPS? Or should you boot up first then reboot back into recovery to flash the new kernel?

In most instances you can get away with that, but I really recommend doing it in a separate session. Minimizes risk, ya know?

Is it problematic to let Franco's app flash it or is it kind of like flashing ROMS through ROM Manager?

Nah, I trust franco and have NEVER had a problem auto-flashing. The current setup is much better than the prior one though; at least with this one you have an option to restart instead of it auto rebooting.

Flashed Franco with his app, seems to be much smoother.

Can anyone get calendar events to show up on the lockscreen? When I click on calendar sources, nothing happens. I love this feature on skank.
