[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

So who hear is sticking with AOKP?

This weekend I may jump ship until AOKP is up to their standards (and ours)....
They do good work so I am not worried about their future.

I'm still on the 7/29 release (along with the Trinity stable 35 kernel), and everything is running great, for me, so I plan to stick with this build for now. The only thing I'm really missing right now is lock screen customization.

Anyway, I've been holding off on flashing any newer builds, given how negatively everyone's been talking of them, and I really like AOKP, in general, so I hope they don't fizzle out.

I jumped back on the skank yesterday, if/when AOKP gets there act together I'll go back to AOKP but I haven't been impressed since they went to nightlies.

Me!

I tried to think of something witty, but this is all I could come up with.

I liked the JB AOKP N1, but at this point it is far inferior to Euroskank's build. There isn't any customization to the nav bar, but at least you can theme and get different colors if you want.

The stability, speed and butteriness is just great on Euro, plus the battery life and performance with the ROM/stock Kernel seems to be pretty darn legit. I'll DF a few builds of this until something else more alluring pops up.

+1!

I'm still on a preview build and all is good. Too busy and happy with what I'm running these days to flash anything else and all the other stuff that goes with it. I'll be back for some newness in a couple weeks (a lifetime in the world of crackflashers I know).

I experienced the GPS issues on P3, but I'm on P7 and it has been flawless for me. (Nightly 1 was was a mess for me so I reverted back to the preview build.)

The only thing I'm missing from AOKP is the lock screen shortcuts. Aside from that and the nav bar toggles, I really don't need much more customization from my ROM. Honestly, the biggest selling point for rooting in my opinion is the better performance from the phone. The extra customization is gravy to me.

I'm on build 1 and I'm blown away by how fast this phone is and how long the battery lasts. It's like I bought a 2013 device or something.

So all the softkey mods are in the ROM? As far as changing color and key types? That is the main thing I like to customize, and are you using stock kernel ?

Changing the color of the Navigation buttons is not in yet nor is the lock screen customization and for some reason, my official dock does not work with this build whereas my dock on my night stand works with the M6 build. I also am for AOKP to just stick to stable builds and milestones. Release it when it is ready. The nightly 1 has caused a number of issues for people and feels laggy which is Jelly Bean heresy. I am going to use Jelly Bro until AOKP gives us a stable build/nightly. Love them, but cannot wait forever for them to get stable JB.

My battery life is atrocious in nightly 1.

I am switching over to the beast until the unicorn improves.

Just flashed CNA 3.0....AWESOME! Just about as much features as AOKP and CM10 and VERY STABLE. Codename is back! Once the Unicorn picks back up I will return.

I am on CNA right now. I just needed something with features that wasn't constantly freezing or rebooting like AOKP.

Yea, I know, Codenamedroid = Blackdroid. Read up on XDA all about his misdeeds in the past kanging the _ _ _ _ out of Cyanogenmod and other developers AFTER talking _ _ _ _ about them. He is now finally giving credit, though, in this release to code from other teams. Do not get me wrong, my favorite ROM is AOKP, but in the meantime until they get their stuff together in a solid build (nightly 1 just did not run so hot), this pleases me a lot as it gives me the features I like and decent performance as a daily driver FOR NOW. Yes, he kanged a lot of stuff together, but this time he is acknowledging other developers and the fact that all this kanged stuff runs as good as it does at least show he is doing SOMETHING right. Drama asside, it is a decent ROM. Had all that stuff with his history not had happened, I think this ROM would be more popular (not as much as CM or AOKP, which I intend to flash again when we get stable performance).

Not quite sure what all the fuss is about AOKP nightly 1. It's been running fine for me for a few days. What problems are you guys having?

I had noticeable lag that I haven't had with most other roms. Thought maybe it was just me until saw everyone else saying the same thing. Went back to skank and it's smooth as butter just like it should be. Oh yeah, battery life was not good with aokp, and is excellent with skank.

Same here with AOKP problems. Most noticeable lag was using Google Now which sucks since it is such a key new feature in JB.

From the GERRIT it looks like it KANGED a lot from CM10. Got to knock out some training real quick before flashin this, LATE!@
