Be sure to thank the op for posting the info and not me.Also, would you mind explaining how you were able to get your mms working. Even with gosms mine are still not working. Other than that, I love this rom.
I updated to the Xionia Clockwork recovery http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s-rooting-roms-hacks/59359-custom-recovery-xionia-clockwork-cwma-v1-2518-6-a.html went back in and flash both OV to Sprint.zip file and the carrier is displayed correctly now.
Was running the latest thunderc custom recovery before.
Sorry MMS does not work, I cant receive but I can send.
Sms/Text works, Camera Works and Alarm no longer fc's. New options in Cyanogenmod settings.

Are you getting force close when selecting an app under the show permissions in dev tools?

my mms, sms, and camera all work now, but i use GoSMS Pro its free and it has a setting to be your default mms app in the settings if stock sms is uninstalled which has saved me, NOW, my camera does not work when i set it to auto zoom and things like that i have to turn off auto focus, macro focus, and those things, but i still love this freaking rom!
Are you sure your MMS is working? The issue is with receiving MMS. Try to send yourself an MMS. You should receive it. Let us know what happens....
Did you do a fresh flash of aospCMod? Have you flashed anything else?
Did you send yourself a picture mail and received it?
EDIT: It would be nice to hear how you did it. Seems everyone else can't get it working...

ok, so im on the latest version of aospcmod-ov, with the flash to sprint from that forum, with your new .zip info [blue pill], i use GoSMS pro with the "i dont have a stock sms application" checked off, and i sent myslef a picture and i recieved it, and i sent one to my friend and he got it.
sounds promising... definitely going to try this out tonight. anyone else want to confirm?
Tried 3 times now. I'm in the middle of building the new flash files to update everything for the Optimus S. So it has been trial and error to say the least. Last attempt in progress right now. **Keeping fingers crossed**

Just to prevent any confusion, can you clarify what "checked off" means in your statement? It almost sounds like it could mean "checked" or "unchecked".

I attempted to get this to work 4 different times. Never worked. Unconfirmed here. If anyone else can get it working and confirm what steps they took, that would help everyone!

It's always worked for the Optimus V, which is what that site is referencing...

well what i explained was pretty much straight forward and works for me :/
1.Go to market download GoSMS
2.Open GoSMS and press the menu button on your phone
3.Go to settings
4.Go to Important Tips
5.Scroll down to where it says "Stock SMS uninstalled?" and check the box
6.Restart your phone just to be sure it makes it handle it
7.Try to send a MMS
