I have yet to have any issues with this ROM, other then the known issue with no audio recorded in the video. GPS works great, and its fast and accurate.

Try muting camera sounds in cm settings/sounds, or
Try deleting the videorecord.ogg file in system /media/audio/ui

The frameworks need to be restarted to see changes. Its always been like that for theming. Like flashing uot kitchen zips. There's notification restart in the market that does a softboot.

You can type in terminal... fix_permissions and see if it fixes the vibrations. It's in the ramdisk. You might try full wiping, flash the rom, reboot to recovery, flash the rom again, flash gapps, then reboot.

I have a question about the 3/7 update. Is that only for the full version and not the barebones? I currently have the barebones version on my phone and would like to fix the rotation issues and the false insufficient space warnings. Would i have to do a full flash to the full version if I wanted a fix or would you recommend me waiting for possibly a barebones update? A fresh install is kind of a pain for me because my internet isn't too fast so reinstalling all my apps takes forever. Thanks for your help in advance.

I don't have a lot of bandwith lately, so barebones might get sacrificed. But if you compare a barebones zip to a full zip, you can delete files that are not present in barebones in the system/media, system/app, system/tts. Then flash the rom with signature off.

You can delete:
in system/app:
CMWallpapers.apk
Cyanbread.apk
LiveWallpapers.apk
MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk

In system/tts:
de-DE_gl0_sg.bin
de-DE_ta.bin
en-GB_kh0_sg.bin
en-GB_ta.bin
fr-FR_nk0_sg.bin
fr-FR_ta.bin
it-IT_cm0_sg.bin
it-IT_ta.bin

in system/media
bootanimation.zip
Delete what ringtones you don't use.

Swap out from any Barebones
LatinIme.apk

That should get you around a ~66MB Rom

Cool thanks for the info. This may sound dumb but could I just do a dirty flash to the full version from the barebones? Even if I could, is it not recommended? Would it possibly brick my phone? I have only falshed my phone a couple times and have never done a dirty flash before but from what I have read it doesn't always work and could cause more problems. Thanks again.

I have formated and partitioned my sdcard, now how do I go about setting it up on ext4 with this ROM? System data and cache.

3.7d is working nicely with data2ext, search for the thread for reborn/cm7 data2ext guide and it works perfectly, have been using it for a couple weeks now and no problems.

I stopped using data2ext and switched over to the S2E app from the market. I was having too many issues with data2ext.

Turns out I'm a huge moron. Didn't have the option checked in Messaging to turn on notifications when the phone was in Vibrate mode. Calls would vibrate, so it led me down the path of apps not being set properly.

Or anything i should know about before flashing? Please no flaming, i checked first post and do not see any working/ not working.

No, that's one problem I never had. IF I could make data2ext work, then apps I installed would either not open or disappear. On the apps that disappeared, I could still find the url(?) version of the file. IE- market would be google.vender.apk or some such.

I fought with this since thekravens CM7 versions in January.

I should say that I find S2E much easier to install and use.

Holy mutha! Thanks. It runs, it flies, and it tells me I have enough free space to include every app in the Play Store (ok, that is an exaggeration). Except for the time to backup and restore my SD card and music, before I partitioned it, it was dead easy. The Play Store told me it was not compatible in the browser, but it downloaded just fine from the phone.

Un-frickin-believable. Wow.

Hehehe.... I also use swapper2 if you want to give that a try (I also turn notifications off in SuperUser so it doesn't tell me every 2 minutes that swapper2 has been granted su permission).

I use SPD 3D shell as my launcher and it flies with S2E and Swapper2!

2 things that I have noticed before that were different from the 12-22 build (Im currently on the 3-7 build):

1) When checking the "Mute Camera Focus (shutter sound)" in the cyanogen settings(sound) and exiting it never stays checked, it always goes back to uncheck. So when I take a photo with my camera its really loud and very annoying. Is there a quick fix to this?

2) on the lock screen when trying to turn the sound off, now there sound on, vibrate, and silent. As suppose to before which was sound on, then vibrate. Is there any way to change this?

Mute sound might be broken on the 3-7 build. You can pull the camera.apk from the 3-9 build and see if it works. Other way is to delete the camera.ogg files in the media folder. Otherwise a fresh install might be recommended if settings are not sticking.

2. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Cm settings/interface/notification power widget/notification widget button picker. And click on sound modes.
