some one pointed out that it just loads the google apps chooser when you first enter your Gmail account. So it is not needed unless you need the google apps downloaded again. It's fine to keep frozen.

If I have some time, I'll look at those themes, easiest would be to let them default to the sized images. Theme chooser just redirects graphic files.

I so rarely use landscape but a quick test says no. Take your time on it, I love the work you've been doing on this ROM and this is only a minor annoyance. It's the devs like you that make our Android world turn.

Looks like a theme problem and not the ROM.

Btw, i'm having one problem. When I go into contacts to view a contact I get a process.acore force close...

I'm going thru these process.acore fc's. Issue 2377 - android - "Android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly" - caused by data that can not be synced - Android - An Open Handset Alliance Project - Google Project Hosting

Some are due to facebook sync's, Missing years on birthdays. See comment #69 and #87

Try turning off sync's that are not Google and see if the error occurs. Like Facebook, skype, twitter...

I also am running barebones 10-17 and to me this update really smoothed out gingerbread cm7, and seems so fast with bobs kernal! I'm happy as hell I stuck with cm7 and not updated! And thanks to kraven the man is a beast, and a very talented individual! Lol Mega props to you kraven!!!

I'm still plagued by missing check boxes and some button elements in the browser with I use any theme other then the 3 stock themes. Most notable is the button in the gmail app to show images in emails.

I have no clue to where to even start looking for a fix... All I want really is a transparent notification area

Is this a problem on anyone elses phone?

You can always use UOT theme kitchen and create a theme that includes the transparent notification slider. I don't know that cm7 offers the ability to edit it without alternate themes.

There will be a 10-23-2011 Nightly. Currently running it through a few tests.

Changelog:

• IHO Kernel 3.11 with multitouch fix renamed 3.3.
• CM7 option to share screenshots.
• Has status bar transparency built in with the clock on the right. Only needs a theme that supports it.
• Themed the Phone dialer with ICS graphics. I'll make it available separately.
• Lot's of minor CM7 fixes. Including below:
• Enhance software AAC encoder to support stereo recording
• Fix AM/PM visibiltiy on the clock
• CM7 Sound and Brightness Power Widget button functions reworked
• See more details on the latest CM7 sync: 10/17-10/22. Lots of minor fixes. https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_base/commits/gingerbread

Sounds great! BTW, is it possible to theme the stock sms app? I've tried replacing it with a few Mms.apk found on this forum and the xda forum. The MIUI one is not supported, another one just force closed and others didn't make any difference. I like Go SMS but the app is too big and I don't wanna install a lot of stuff. I noticed there are options to change the font size and the background to black but the black one is too dark and the messages are hard to read. I would be so happy if the stock sms app can look something like these.
But anyway, your ROM is great and I love it! Thanks for the good work!

those are sense rom images, you could always use the NTsense theme over on xda developers.....

I know some have been mentioning data sync issues. I also saw that it may be a left over issue from rolling back from the zvh based roms. Well that is what is happening with me. I use google voice which i have grown to love, but not getting text messages and voicemail notifications really sucks!!

Has anyone come up with a fix for this? I have been toying with the idea of doing a dirty flash of the zvd update .zip files a few times then re-rooting ect. Also before flashing this rom (10/17 version) i flashed the debugALL.zip from zefie (as apposed to the debug system one) in hopes of removing all traces of zvh left behind, but that didnt help.

Any thoughts?

On a side note i nanded back to stock zvd rom and updated profile and prl. Some how it reverted me back to stock recovery and unrooted me. I am totally bewildered. I am going to open a topi in the main rom section about it.

Has anyone noticed an issue with the in-call Bluetooth volume control? When on a call and using bluetooth, the volume control on the phone shows that you are adjusting the BT audio, but the headset volume itself does not actually change. On the other hand, you can adjust the volume on your BT headset directly, but it does not communicate that change to the phone.

I'm using the 10/17 patch with a Plantronics headset.

That patch was only for wired headset buttons. I'll make a note of that. You might check BT device's properties and check the box for media audio. There are some bluetooth fixes in this next update 10-23, more on the line of Bluetooth routing priority over wired headsets.

Here's how the dialer turned out. The upper tab buttons will be different to what theme you use. Still trying to find that elusive 'add' contact button on the bottom, then i'll post up the 10/23 update.
