[ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 3/9 zvd only

hm i saw it was included i did not however see just the link to the kernal ill look =D

Its better than xioniaredux! I can overclock to 844mhz while on xionia I could go only to 825mhz. It's the the best kernel I've used so far.

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 9-25-2011

I just uploaded the lasted CM7 build. My bluetooth tester went missing. So give it a try and let me know.

9/25/11 New 9-25-2011 build. Includes Bobzhome's 3.1 kernel. Gps and memory tweaks. A few surprises. Camera shutter sound on/off fixed. New bootanimation. Latest CM7 sync.

Link in the first post. I will add BAREBONES build later.

thanks,
Jon

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 9-25-2011

Super! Thanks, thekraven! Would someone mind testing whether the Sprint VVM app on this ROM can receive voice sms from another phone? I've heard VVM works for voicemail, but I couldn't get it to work on my phone for voice sms using this ROM. Messages sent to myself seemed to play back fine, but voice sms received from another phone didn't work.

Thank you. I appreciate it. My wife uses this feature to send me messages so I can't use any ROM where it doesn't work. (If you really want to go the extra mile, PM me with your phone number and I'll try sending you a voice sms to see if it works. It seems to works fine running Reborn).

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 9-25-2011

Bluetooth works for me once again.

I was running 9/2 with the IHO kernel, wiped cache but no factory, then flashed 9/25 and gapps. Everything seems to be good to go with my plantronics headset working just fine.

Thanks again Kraven

I added the center clock patch in the theme section. Made with the CM7 patcher and used the 9/25/2011 SystemUI.apk. Download onto your sdcard and flash in your recovery. There is an undo file in the first post too.

Is the 9/25 Barebones build still being uploaded?

Definitely wanting to try this out but not wanting to flash the full build.

I like the barebones - clean, simple, and fast!

yeah I'll check when I get home.

You should come up with a name for your rom! I think its on par or better than any I've used. I think a name is needed. Just a suggestion!

How about Ark ROM? (arkROM?) Just what popped into my head when looking at your screen name. Thanks for your work!

First: Thank you so very much for getting wi-fi hotspot working again. I haven't tried yet, but I'll assume USB tethering probably works as well. Big fist bump.

Second: since you've said you largely go with the IHO build, and you're thekraven (Merriam Webster: "contemptibly fainthearted"), call it something like Inferior Human Cowardice?

Third: Suggested method for kernel flashing? Totally new to that aspect of things.

The 9/25 builds already have the latest iho BobZhome's 3.1 kernel. But you are free to try the different offerings. You just copy the kernel zip to your sdcard, and flash in recovery.

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 9-27-2011

Just uploaded 9-27-2011. Only difference is a new Ring lockscreen. Have fun. 9272011-cm7.1.0-RC1-IHO-KRAVEN.zip

You could just install over the last build. BUt do a cache/dalvik cache wipe. If you encounter any problems, then do a full wipe. Also report any bugs with gps, bluetooth, and any other issues.

I'll make a new center clock for this one, since the framework changed. And upload the barebones in the morning.

ThekRaven by Egger Allen No

The clock struck midnight
And through my sleeping
I heard a beeping on my floor
I looked but nothing lay in the inbox
And so I returned online once more

To my amazement
There stood a ROM
Where nothing hung or ran poor
Then through the forums
It spoke those words
that I shall hear forever more

Heres Some More
Thus quoth thekraven, Here's some more

Thanks man, love all the updates, keep em comin...your work is appreciated.

Having an issue with it FC'ing with both ADW and LauncherPro. I primarily use LP so if there's a way to make it work on that with a theme that'd be awesome.

Re: [ROM][WIP] CM7 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 9-27-2011

which Rom are you using? The 9/25 or 9/27? I updated the centerclock patch for the 9/27 Roms last night. The frameworks changed a lot in those two builds, so a new centerclock patch was needed. I have it working on ADW and LP on the 9/27 build. Testing out the Cotton Candy theme. Only thing bugging me is the notification overlay of the clock, I'll work on that.
ADW...........................................................................................LP
