After trying both full and barebones 10-17 build im very impressed! The multitouch fix really helps with touch accuracy and noticed things like pinch and zoom are drastically better! And also checked out maps and got a gps fix in about 6 sec. impressive! The kernal is more stable than any other kernal! Thanks kraven bobshome, zefie, drew, and anybody else whose names i havnt mentioned! This is turning into one hell of a rom!!!

what's the "Market Apps Installer 1.1?" I noticed it froozen...whats it do? part of gapps maybe?

I believe it's the Packageappsinstaller.apk. It lets you install non market apps. This shows what is ok to uninstall via Titanium backup Barebones - CyanogenMod Wiki

Quick question that's probably been answered but, can we dirty flash? I'm on 10-10 full build and will be flashing the 10-17 build.

Nandroid first, then atleast do a cache wipe and you can do a system format and boot since you will be reflashing everything on top of it. I usually test both and never had a problem, but I only carry about 15-20 apps on my phone.

I wipe everything anytime I update. I'm using around 75 apps and if I only wipe cache and dalvik it wont reboot.

Im enjoying TheKraven port but I'm having a problem with being unable to delete widgets off my desktop. I press and hold it and I can feel the vibrate but it never selects and never brings up a trash can. Anyone else run into this.

The latest version works great!
I have a question though. I'm about to switch to a bigger SD card. Is everything gonna work properly if I copy and paste everything from the old card or do I have to reinstall the custom recovery and the ROM? Thanks!

Yes it will just make sure you put the recovery img back on also your rom zip and anything else you want

ADW launcher does things a little differently, you long press on the icon/widget and release. A popup opens giving you options of what you want to do, the first from the left being delete !!

This happened to me and I had a mini heart attack. Bring up the menu and hit more, double check to see if "Lock Homescreen" is on.

You might have your lock screen setting on. Go into adw settings and make sure it says unlock.

Volume at lowest level is very loud. Is there a way to fix this?

I found a workaround for this after some searching after an especially painfully loud call. While in a call, turn the volume all the way up and then back down.

I'm not sure yet how long this setting sticks once you do the workaround but I made a couple calls in a row afterward and it seems to have fixed it.

i was actually gonna comment on that earlier...than forgot. same thing works for me. Turn it all the way up and than adjust as neccesary. seems like actual vol setting and the software aren't on the same page. it seems to stick for awhile, or the problem is pretty random cause the last time i fixed the volume problem on my phone was before i flashed 10-17 version and it is still fixed.



oh, i have been haveing a weird issue basically on every cm7 rel i've tried(basically all of them) where i chose an app(browser,keyboard...etc...) other than the stock one to perform a function(when that screen pops up to ask which app i'd like to use to complete the action) that choice doesn't survive a reboot. any ideas, it seems like its something i've done somehow...cause i've never heard anyone else have a similar problem.

You could freeze the app with titanium backup you are not using.

Bingo, we have a winner! That is exactly what was wrong. I don't remember locking it but it certainly was. I unlocked it and all is fine.
