[ROM] CM7.2 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 3/9 zvd only

Re: [ROM] CM7.1 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 10-23-2011

any fix for usb mass storage issues?

I don't think anyone has reported that issue yet?

1) Try a different USB cable
2) Make sure you have the current LG drivers loaded
3) Make sure USB debugging is enabled

One other thing you can try - power off the phone, pop the microSD out and put it into an adapter
and throw it on a Windows XP/Vista/7 machine and do a check disk on the card.

If you've been using the card for a while - a good idea is to backup everything off the card into
a folder on your hard drive - make a copy of the copy while you are at it!
Then fresh format the microSD as Fat-32 - and don't choose the quick format.
It will scan for any bad sectors and refresh the card, then once thats complete, copy the files
you backed up - back onto the microSD - this also defrags the card at the same time.

Pop back into the phone and reboot.

This should also work if you are using the data2ext tweaks as a Windows machine only will see the Fat-32
partition of the card and ignore the linux partitions that droid is using.

Well, I tried this method and it worked.

THEKRAVEN, not sure if you want to make a note of this on the OP for ppl experiencing the problems.

Reboot into recovery, go to mounts and storage and select mount USB Storage. Connect cable to phone and PC. It showed up on my PC now and I'm transferring my files :)

And the funny part is once I transfered my files this way and unmounted my phone, disconnected my cable and then phone rebooted into normal ROM home, now if I connect the USB, its working normally :)

that's peculiar, maybe usb debugging was on and it had trouble identifying the drive. Maybe usb mass storage mode in recovery let it identify it without the debugging present, sounds like a PC issue,I wonder what computer hardware your on...(os etc.)

Debugging wasn't on coz I checked if that's the issue. It wasn't. I'm on HP probook with XP.

The kraven would you off hand have any lock screen zip files or know where I could download any from?

I just downloaded the Rom and followed the directions on how to flash, when my phone loaded up I noticed that my mobile connection is disabled. Anyone have any suggestions?:(

I'm going to reflash it again hopefully it will work the 2nd time around.

Are you on VD baseband?? I think it says so in the OP that you have to be on ZVD baseband.

Yeah, ZVD band, funny thing is I'm in settings under "about phone" and it states "unknown" under Baseband Version

Re: [ROM] CM7.1 Port for Optimus S by thekraven 10-23-2011

Is all these issues with the themes about them resetting to default when the phone is rebooted? Thats what happens to me with any theme I have tried... Anyway to fix? Thanks...

Make sure you arent moving your themes to the sd-card in settings-applications-manage apps. If you do every time you reboot it will revert back to stock.

Can someone help patch this? I can't get the ones in description to work, or ZDunes patcher. If any could, I'd like center clock and transparency please, and thank you. :-\

Try this, it compiled and it took two tries to work.

In recovery, apply the patch, reboot. If it works then you are ok. If not reboot to recovery. Then do the undo patch. Reboot back to CM7. Now reboot to recovery and apply the patch again. And reboot to CM7. It should stick.

The 16-bit transparency option makes the system run smooth, but makes theming a bit harder and requires a reboot.

So, Recovery, Appy patch, reboot, apply undo, reboot, apply patch.

I tried my best.... no luck. I have yet one more request.... is it possible for someone to make a nandroid backup with patches enabled?
