I tried using Link2SD,
But when I partition my SD Card it won't mount. Yet- as a single partition- it mounts fine.
So, is it supported or not?

It has the built in scripts from quattrimus. It automatically moves dalvik and installed apps to sd-ext, if you have a sd-ext partition already on your sdcard. Otherwise everything stays on internal.

If you are having market apps compatibility problems, change this line in the build.prop

ro.product.device=thunderc

to

ro.product.device=LS670
or
ro.product.device=VM670

When installed VM 17g fix, Phone disappeared but was still in the App partition.

This is freaking amazing. I can't believe how responsive and slick this is on this old phone. Very, very nicely done.

My ONLY issue is with video playback. I made some Optimus S optimized videos using hand brake and they don't really play very well. Slow and crummy. I tried the MX Player recommended in this thread and no luck. Still crummy. Any further developments on the video playback front?

When you are using MX Player, try changing from hardware decoding to software decoding (or vice versa). Sometimes that takes care of it. It's in the settings menu.

Thanks bblaze, I tried that a bit and it didn't seem to help, but I'll play with it some more.

I just experienced the clock lag, too, memsman, and I did a totally clean install.

I have clock lag-meaning, I assume, that the clock in the top status bar lags as well as the lock screen clock lags. I did a sorta clean install (didn't wipe data).

I too experienced the clock lag today. I unlocked the phone and both the notification bar clock and the analog widget were 10 minutes slow. They both updated together within 30 seconds.

Here is an update on the gmail app missing text issue. It did it to me at least twice today. It is not just text it is the rendering of the entire message body, images and all. The first time a reboot fixed it. The second time, my hands were full and I was not worried about the mail since I saw who it was from and I shoved the phone in my pocket without rebooting. When I received a message later, I checked it using the gmail widget, which of course launched gmail, but the text remained and did not disappear. I closed gmail and launched it normally and the text still remained. Whether that fixed it or not I do not know. The next time it occurs I will try to play with it and see.
Another odd issue, I use a battery monitor widget from geekyouup, and after a reboot it will come up on the screen correctly, then change to 0% battery. The only fix I have found is to remove the widget from the home screen and put it back.

Anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Great work on this rom so for . Very smooth. Having an issue with the calendar is there supposed to be a way to get the google calendar back on it or did I have a bad flash.

Big problem today. Anyone I call its acting like im hitting *2 and saying "welcome to sprint"...This happens if I call from my contacts or even if I manually dial. I tried dirty reflashing but that didnt work.....Really dont want to start over but that might be my only option. Anyone else with the same problem?

Trying dirty flash to 17G from 17F hoping it will work. So weird this problem came out of nowhere.

Honestly, it sounds like your account has been deactivated for some reason. Try talking to sprint and making sure that everything's ok with your account. That always used to happen when I was too late on my bill.

Hey all!
I've been wanting to upgrade from CM7.2 to ICE-CM9 for a few weeks now, but I'm getting a little overwhelmed by all the updates/patches. What files do I need to download in order to upgrade the new rom? I'm using CM7.2 on Sprint.
Also, what are the major 'Not Working' or bugs are there? I tried to follow through all the posts, but after dozens pages it became a blur.

In terms of bugs, I'd suggest reading through the last 10 pages or so. It's more up to date than the first 100.

As for downloads, get the 17g file from the first post, as well as the 'Gapps' file. Read through the first post carefully and it should be clear.

I'm not sure where the Sprint VVM download is that he's talking about, I'm going to try an install this one when I get the nerve: AOKP Epic 4G: CM9/AOKP Fixed Sprint Visual Voicemail Great ROM.

Would Evil_Lite be another name for Mini Me? I, too, upgraded from CM7.2. I still have that in a nandroid backup in case of emergency. This thing is beautiful and I really like ICS. The ability to create folders puts all your apps within a few thumb presses.

hi i been having issues with my hardware buttons and was wondering if there is a way i can flash a zip and get the soft key navbar at the bottom like other phones have? if so can i get the zip plz?

Edit not issues they stoped working. reguardless of rom. i need a softkey fix please, only way i can use this phone anymore (u.u)
