[ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9+Paranoid Android LS670 11/20 ZVD basesband Alpha19

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

still a little confused how to wipe /system though. mounts only has mount /system. and when i select it, it changes it to unmount /system. does that wipe /system?

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

I would advise the same. either xionia or cwmt. I like how cwmt has a couple extra features, but xionia is more widely used.

in any case, once you get /system wiped, go ahead and reflash, and that should fix the problem. most likely, anyway.

otherwise you could start from scratch. do a full wipe (wipe /system, /data, /cache) and then flash 10g and gapps.

and would a full wipe be a factory reset?

Get a real recovery, install Xionia. Do it now.

What you have is a poorly done abomination, sorry to be so blunt.

No, that just changes the mount state. I'm not familiar with the particular recover that you're using, so I can't really say where to wipe /system. but if you switch to either xionia or cwmt, either Pkt_Lnt or I can help you.

Yeah, that was me. Hahaha. I can confirm that CWMT-TH6 will flash correctly, but when i tried it earlier with TH8, no go.

That is why I have stayed with Xionia - I like solid. ;)

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

still cant find where to wipe /system on xionia

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

It should be under Mounts
there will be 4 options to wipe: boot, system, data, cache

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

tried to do it just now by wiping system and then cache and reflashing both. same problem. then tried a full wipe by doing system, data, and then cache and reflashing both. the problem still persists

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

By both you mean the rom and the 04292012 gapps?

Re: [WIP][ROM]COLD AS ICE-CM9 Sprint LS670 5/6 ZVD basesband Alph

My wifi doesn't appear to be working properly. Or, I should say, the icon doesn't seem to work properly. Even when it says no wifi, I think I may still be using it. The settings say I'm connected.

Doing the "save-the-battery" airplane mode dance fixes it.
