Looks like we should see some pretty cool new lockscreen options in tonight's builds! One new one that will be similar to the Sense lockscreen, and an updated Rotary lock. I'm counting down the hours for tonight's! Who else?

Usually the same time every night! Unless a build fails, then it will be a bit later

Awesome! Its really great to see the CM7 RC is going to be much more functional then the first CM6 RC haha!

Who else is still gonna keep flashing the nightlies every night after the RC/Stable releases?

You know - when I rooted I promised myself that I would not become that "ROM GUY" but dammit - I lied to myself!

I may not flash Every nightly... but I'll be watching the change log for goodies!

Me , , so far I have updated every night since I started using this rom

I am really impressed with this rom (build 7). It's very fast and my battery life is off the charts without the need for juice defender or any other management. I have a 2250 battery. Off charger for 16hr 28min and still have 56% battery left. It's also very pretty.

Top three drains

• Display: 66%
• Phone Idle: 8%
• Cell standby: 6%

I don't know how much of this is 2.3 and how much is the tweeks in CM, but it's pretty astounding. Previously I could go about 19 hours, then I would be under 10%.

Anyone else having issues with last nights build while trying to mount the sdcard. After I select mount disk drive the phone locks up and a battery pull is required. I remember having this issue around a month ago not sure what build it was.

edit - so I tried a third time and it worked without having the phone lockup

I think someone over on XDA was reporting the same issue.

I have everything working right on build #13 (the first CM7 build that I tried!) and don't want to mess anything up so I haven't tried any of the newer builds :-[

Just got #38 this morning for first time, coming from MIUI. This ROM blows my mind. Only issue I seem to be having is that when in Settings>Sounds, I get a force close on the settings menu. So I am stuck with the rock song ringer, not the end of the world.

I was getting force closes in that same settings menu too... I just did a full wipe and flashed the ROM again and it fixed the issue!

ONE downside that I wish was fixable is the fact that video out doesn't work


Anyone know how to get ADW Notifier to play nice with Handcent in the dock? I want it to show how many unread text messages I have and it will for a while and then it will stop counting them..

I use neither ADW Notifier or Handcent, so maybe someone else could report on this?

Quick note on the RC that was released today, it looks like it must be flashed OVER a previous nightly. From what I've read on XDA, everyone who performed a full wipe before flashing was unable to get past the "Touch Android to continue" screen to begin setup. Everybody be careful

I wiped Dalvik, rebooted phone, and through Rom Manager downloaded RC1, backed up and wiped data and cache. Set up phone again, and still cannot get into Settings>Sound. Any ideas? I'm still stuck with that damn rock song lol

You can try opening up Rom Manager and pick 'Fix Permissions' from the Utilities section. I tried that first and it didn't help me when I had your issue. The wipe and re-flashing the ROM is what got it working.
