[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

And you are trying to restore from a nandroid made with 3.0.0.8 or what the nandroid made with an earlier version?
Also, Are you making your nandroids from recovery itself or are you using ROM Manager?

If it was made with an earlier version, that is most likely your problem.

I was trying to get an app called zombiebooth to work so I went back to stock then wanted to go hack to cm ...I do believe I made the backup in 3.0.0.8 ...it is possible there just wasnt enough space.

I flashed CM7 for the first time this week, coming from Incredibly Re-engineered, and I honestly could not figure out what was so great about it. I ran nightly #13 then #14. My biggest problem was that gapps didn't come standard. Somebody help me I created a nandroid for #14, but I'm back to Inc-reengineered for now till I can figure out why cm7 and gingerbread are so popular.

I guess its a matter of taste... and it only takes maybe 5 mins to flash gapps.. I ran reengineered for a little. i just personally find my phone is more stable and battery last a little longer. If you your happier with another ROM, more power to ya :) plus I like having a 2.3.3 android version on my phone plus some extras. minus 720p recording (for now) but I don't record often anyway...

How did you flash the gapps? That was my biggest issue. I downloaded the file from xda forums, but wasn't sure how to install them from there. I ended up using the online market, which was a pain.

Is anyone else having problems with web pages re sizing when using pinch to zoom? I am having the same issue with the stock browser and dolphin browser. I checked and the option is selected in the settings.

Any idea what the issue and fix could be

You just flash the GAPPS zip like any other flash. When you reboot it will ask which apps you want to install. You can also flash GAPPS after flashing CM7 in the same recovery session.

Did you check CyanogenMOD Settings -> Interface ->Reflow after pinch in? I was having that problem too until I found that unchecked after my last full wipe.

i will make it simple for you... Read the first page of this thread. Here is a chunk ( I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR ANY OF THIS... IT'S ALL ON PAGE ONE)

If this is your first time flashing a CM7 Nightly, or you are returning from another ROM, you must absolutely do a full wipe before flashing. That means wiping your user data, cache, and Dalvik cache from recovery,
After wiping, go ahead and flash the most recent nightly. Once the installation is finished, you will need to flash the Google Apps(gapps). These consist of the Android Market, Gmail, Maps, etc.
If you choose to flash a custom kernel, it is advised to boot into the ROM once, and then wipe cache and Dalvik cache from recovery before flashing the kernel.

DOWNLOADS

Last but not least, the part where you Download the ROM!

ROM - TeamDouche Mirror System Highest number is the most recent.
Gapps - http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110120-signed.zip

i want to flash to he uncommon sense 1.1 instead of gingerbread rom. But it wont let me downgrade. Please help

Dead link... Pville :) page not found................................

Loaded for me - I don't know, the site has been real wonky the last few days. I've been getting a lot of dead pages that I have to either go back and re-click or F5 to see. All the Thunderbolt folks raging about where their pre-order is I guess. ;)

Awesome thank you so much. I was doing it from the browser settings. Didn't even know that settings existed

Nightlies is starting to become "every-other-nightly" - need my fix man, give it to me.

Seriusly, if my laptop wasn't at the ladyfriend's house, I would consider pulling the source and compiling it myself...probably not though. Too lazy ;)
