[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

So I was going through the nightlies the past few months with no issues, then lately no matter which one I tried or what I did, the FC's were preventing me from using my phone at all they were popping up so much. So I wiped fresh, and installed 105. The problem is, my market apps only showed about half the apps I actually had downloaded in the past.

If I hadn't had Titanium backup to show me all the apps that I had in the past, I'm sure I would have forgotten some until I went to use them again. I was able to reinstall them one by one but it was a pain. My question, how can I insure my market/google account backs up all the apps I have installed? That way next time I do a full wipe, I don't spend 3 hours looking up tons of apps individually to download. Thanks!

The other thing you can do is use SuperManager to create apk's of all the apps you have installed. Then, you can use any file manager app to install any or all of your previous apps without having to download them again.

Don't forget the Splash Screen! ;)

Check the ROM's and Mod's HQ post for links to Animations and Splashes.

Quite a while ago, I changed the splash to a picture of my daughter. Having that be what's displayed when rebooting makes it a lot easier to wait for ROMs to load.

Do you guys happen to know if CM would affect bluetooth? I use a jawbone icon and with stock rom it would tell me the phone number that was calling me and let me voice dial by holding down the button. Doesn't seem to do either now. Is this something the ROM is lacking? Not a huge deal for me since I only use the bluetooth in the car but it was nice.

I flashed #108 since it was an even number :)

I dont use bluetooth with mine so dont know about that Im sure some others will know stay tuned in.

Try deleting your pairing in the phone and resetting the ear piece. I've had intermitant issues with my SuperTooth3 hands free but a clean repairing usually fixes it. CM had a BT issue a few months ago but it's been fixed since the 60's/70's.

I don't flash every nightly... but when I do, it has a number.

Falsh responsibly

;)

I don't post every day but when I do... its because my wife has left the room for 5 minutes.

Absolutely killing me Stig!!

Fortunately my wife goes to sleep early and leaves for work early. I don't try to hide my posting addiction, but when I do, it's because she's asleep. ;) LOL

@DWM - There was a post on xda that 109 lost root and the SU binaries had to be flashed. How did it work for you? Do you still have SU?

I saw that...and I also saw a post that somebody lost root with #104...but I didn't. I'm going to wait a little longer before I install #109 just to be safe.

Sorry, I couldn't resist:

I don't always flash ROM's, but when I do, I prefer CyanogenMod 7.

Flash responsibly, my friends.

Ah! I just lost root access as well on 109. I can just run unrevoked again right?

I would guess to day that if you have lost root, you should ( I don't like using the word "should") be able to run UnrEVOked again.

I personally am sticking with 7.0.3 RC until the next stable comes out.

Hey, while I'm thinking about it....is anyone else using Touchdown for corporate email? I flashed another 2.3.3 rom and the license file was not compatible, and since I use this for work email, this is a must. I know Netflix works with CM7 but not with other 2.3.3 roms so I'm hoping the license file for Touchdown works also. Anyone know, or can someone look for "Exchange by TouchDown Key" in the market who is running CM7 and let me know if it's there?
