[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

I would just like to take a moment and ask any of the newcomers to this MASSIVE thread to please, for the love of all that is good in the world, go to the first page of this thread and read the OP. I don't expect anyone to read this entire thread, that would take hours. Quite a few questions I've seen asked recently are addressed in the OP, specifically regarding 720p.

On a less serious note, looks like we finally got our rotation settings back from CM6. These will allow us to set full rotation. 90, 180, or 270. I actually like to enable the 270, because I always accidentally pick my phone up upside down. Should be in 104, if not, 105 for sure.

I have already read the OP and most of the thread. That was months ago and I was seeing if anyone has had an update.

On a lighter note, N 105 is up and looks to have a lot of updates.

Yeah, clean installs are a pain, but I've done so many at this point I've got it down to about 30 - 45 min. ;) I'm not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign!

I usually find about 6 or 7 apps that I don't bother re-installing because I used them once and then never touched them again. So I guess it's a good housecleaning exercise.

I've got clean installs down to an art form myself, which is good because I should probably do a full wipe sometime within the next few nightlies. I always find at least a few apps that I don't use and a few more that I use, but can live without.

Too true guys. There were several apps I elected to not restore. So far its all smooth sailing and no lag.

ADW did restore most of my settings and homescreen but like someone said it didn't put apps back where they were but oh well, can't have it all.

I also finally took of my Zagg after dealing with a peeling edge for months now (shhh don't tell tony bag o dougnuts) and I have to say, I really forgot how smooth the naked screen was...like having new phone again.

#106 is up  , Im 3 versions behind being on #103 gotta catch back up lol

I've been using the stock kernel with good battery life but others have preferred Chad's latest.

As your battery life goes your mileage may vary. Some have great battery life with CM7, some don't. Give the stock kernel a shot, and if it doesn't work for you give Inredikernel a shot.

cm7 on my dinc provides better battery life (not alot better but noticeable) than any rom on my thunderbolt ever has - mostly a bamf user.

Nightly's

These nightly's just keep getting better and better. They are very stable.. Not sure why the last "stable" release was produced so long ago...;):-\

Because they haven't felt like it yet! ;)

There were whiffs of a new stable coming out, but that was a while ago. Let them keep going!

Nightly 107

cm_inc_full-107.zip
1) correct model names to match stock (android_vendor_cyanogen)
2) Recovery BackupTool: add system mount check to prevent (u)mount if already mounted (android_vendor_cyanogen)CMParts:
3) Remove (Evo) from pref_flash_mode_summary string (android_packages_apps_CMParts)

FYI:cool:

Well, I'm back on CM7 for a while after using the Hybrid 3.0 rom. It's really come a long way, and I may head back that way again but it always amazes me how nice it is to have a super minimal ROM.

Also, I'd never noticed the option to have screen transitions with adw before, but that makes it much nice to use. Were these new between 88 and now?
